Hey! I'm part of a dev team run by @thearcticdreemurr creating a Friday Night Funkin' mod called "Frigid Summer," which a demo for it has finally been released after working on it for a few years! You guys can check it out if you want!

And maybe I might answer any questions y'all have regarding the characters or mod itself. Or if you encounter any bugs/glitches, then let me know and I'll redirect it to TAD. (I'm aware of at least one. a cutscene was supposed to play after the 3rd song of week 2, but it didn't for some reason. we'll work on it so don't worry)

IDK if this needs to be said ,but please dont change your human soul OCs if you don't want to just because of chapter 5."Well, I have to follow canon-" no,you don't,if you love your oc just the way they are.You don't have to change them for them to be more "canon-aligned".After all,Clover is a popular soul of justice (OC),and their game is very much non canon,but people still love it.Hell,they still would even if it released after chapter 5.

This isnt to discredit people who believe the flowers are based off the human souls,and created OCs based off them.Both CAN and SHOULD exist,human soul OCs that are based off the flowers and OCs that do their own thing.

Not to mention, in my opinion, it's cool to have multiple different types of the same soul.Not only to see other interpretations of the same soul, but they could all be friends one another and I think that would be sweet.

Undertale for sure. that game has changed my life so much for the better. If it wasn't for Toby Fox, I never would've met a lot of my online friends, including @thearcticdreemurr. I was... I think in middle school when the game was first released? I remember seeing a trailer for it and thinking "oh that looks really cool! I wanna play that!"

And boy am I glad I did.

I hardly use cheat codes in games, but I guess I've used some cheats in Spore to get more DNA points for more parts to use. I guess I technically could play without doing that, but eh. It's a game from 2008, so it's not a huge deal.

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

Let's talk about reblog notes.

We rolled out a significant change to how notes work on reblogs, and the reaction has been strong. We're not going to pretend otherwise. 

First things first: We're reversing the change. Your feedback in comments, emails, and especially reblogs, made clear that the rollout created problems we need to address before moving forward. We also should have communicated this differently from the start, and we didn't.

We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you.

In the coming days we'll share more on how we plan to do that,  including ways to work directly with some of you on this and future changes before they ship.

Keep an eye on @staff for updates to come soon.

I genuinely appreciate Sean openly talking about his struggles with things like this. It helps others remember that they are never alone in these things. I’ve had anxiety for many years. It’s gotten a bit better, but I am definitely someone who constantly over analyzes and over thinks things on a very consistent basis. @therealjacksepticeye
