Dandy and shrimpo do their DARNEDEST to make sure people believe they despise each other once they (after a milenia of trial and error fighting and flirting) start dating privately. But unfortunately for one of them, they are NOT good at keeping secrets like those for long. Not ones where he has to force himself to not do things he'd hardly even process otherwise. The fighting is wholly dramatized, to a really obnoxious amount. Though.. It doesn't SEEM out of the usual.

shrimpo doesn't realise that he's acting weird with dandy to the unaware toons' perspective. Not angry, moreso fussy and even teasing. Too close even when he's huffing about dandy being ANNOYING!! Not listening to a word he says.. or so it seems. (He is and he will mention random facts about the conversation later on accidentally). Dandy is way better at hiding it, and covers most of the time for shrimpo.

It becomes VERRRY obvious eventually, with shrimpo just straight up sleeping on Dandys lap like a grumpy ol' cat in the lobby, Dandys hand resting on top of his head whilst he too is knocked out cold . Cosmo bet they werent together and now has to pay sprout 50 tapes. Pictures were taken and the others will NEVER live it down, much to the couples shagrin. They prefer not to harp on about it, but they do hateflirt a lot in public. Arguing and bickering like narcissistic little fools Like duuude GET A ROOMMM!!!! They do it purely for the love of the game istg

This is so funny from the rest of the casts perspective 😭😭 Shrimpo thinks hes EATING with his acting skills like "heheh im the best at this im fooling them all🔥" but really mf is doing a pouty little "hmph!" And everyone is worried they're interrupting something

Also Dandy definitely knows his (Shrimpos) acting abilities are shit , lowkey mentally cringes everytime, but also its like really cute how hard hes trying so its fine, Dandy isnt telling him
