The Ladies. Acrylic on Canvas.
Strange Storm. I know the perspective is fucked up, but I wanted that to add to the sense of unease. Acrylic on canvas. Alternative title- Apocalypse on 10th Street.
Scarlett O’Hara. She has my motto-when you fuck up, dress fabulously and carry your head high. Colored pencil on paper.
This is another high school piece. The assignment was do something with at least three symbols and mixed media, and honestly, I just picked some crazy stuff and realized after that it worked as a piece about a young lady who’s interested in carnal pleasures, but won’t take the plunge thanks to societal expectations.
Acrylic, water color, oil pastel, and charcoal on gessoed cardboard.
The Toxic Love Series. First is “Still Slurring Your Name”- watercolor on paper. The next two are “Cherry Wine” and “Thinking of You”-charcoal and watercolor on paper.
Galactic Goddess. This one didn’t photograph well as the background isn’t streaky in person. Acrylic on canvas.
Rita Hayworth. The top one is charcoal and water color and the frame is filled with quotes from Gilda. The second is graphite and chalk pastels with some ink.
Rainbow Eye. Watercolor on paper.
A Beautiful Girl. Water color on paper.
Ophelia’s flowers, plaster and acrylic paint on canvas.
Ophelia is often depicted floating in water after drowning herself surrounded by flowers. Here I’ve depicted just the flowers as a reminder that even in dark times, there are often slivers of beauty to be found.
50′s housewife throwing a Molotov cocktail, what’s not to love? Water color on paper.
Mark Twain acrylic on canvas.
Water color of Marilyn Monroe.
I love twisted cross stitch.
Into the Labyrinth. Acrylic on canvas. Based on the novel House of Leaves.
James Hetfield pointilism from high school. Acrylic on paper.
Two acrylic portraits-one of Jimi Hendrix and another of Stevie Ray Vaughan, plus a pencil of Jimi. The Jimi painting has glow in the dark background paint.
