Brian May / 70s
queen, new orleans press conference 1978
On the track “Seaside Rendezvous” the only real instruments present are the bass, piano, and percussion, including a triangle. The “jazz solo” is done completely by Roger and Freddie’s voices alone, Freddie imitating woodwinds such as a clarinet, and Roger vocalizing brass instruments, including a kazoo. Roger hit his highest note on the album in this song, a C6. The “tap dancing” section is also done by Roger and Freddie, playing with thimbles on their fingers at the mixing desk. Brian May did not participate in this track.
I wonder why
“Brian May did not participate in this task” is the shadiest fucking sentence I’ve ever read
Brian: idk what the fuck y’all are doing but i want no part of it
😺😺😺
He can’t help it MY HEART
cutie :((
I see your “Roger Taylor has eyes like diamonds” and raise you a “Brian May’s eyes literally look like they hold the secrets of the universe.”

Roger: Guys, it’s true, the earth is flat
Brian: e x c u s e m e
Freddie: Well obviously, if it was a circle then boats would go right off the edge
John: And planes would fly off as well
Brian: *hyperventilating* no guys please the earth is a sphere gravity keeps us on earth you can’t walk off the edge it’s fine please why are you saying this
Roger: gravity isn’t real
Brian: *frantically pacing back and forth on the verge of tears* holy fuck
*looks up at the stars and blows a kiss* for David Bowie :’)
*dumps glitter on myself* for Freddie Mercury ✨
My brain when im about to go to sleep:
