Was told a statistic today. The average person lives to 81, the average person with bipolar disorder lives to 51. Honestly that scared the shit out of me, but with that being said. I learned this in an appointment downtown Toronto that took me months to get. He gave me hope. With in the last five years we have learned so much about mental health. There is evidence that some people with bipolar depression have more inflammation in the body. They are doing study's and that gives me so much hope.
