It shouldn't be shocking that fic theft is going on in this fandom, its gone on as long as fic writing has existed- but the fucking gaul of someone to directly steal @midway-ans beautiful fic, either run it through a shitty ai or half ass a re-write, and slap lestappen on it before throwing it up on Ao3 under anonymous and claim they wrote it is appalling.

The fic has been reported for plagiarism already- should anyone find it don't bother harassing the author, they didn't care enough to write a fic you shouldn't waste your time on them- but we have to address the fact someone thought this was at all appropriate in the first place and wouldn't be caught. Its the most popular f1 ship by works alone, can't you content yourself with that instead of stealing from tiny ships and dedicated writers?

if you want to read a good fic, go check out the wedding whisperer- its a beautiful story and Ana deserves praise for it- not to have it stolen

The fuck - the audacity

Ana is one of the best writers I've ever had the pleasure of reading, and most of the appeal comes from the stories being tailored for gewis. Incredibly aweful of somebody to just steal it and use it for lestappen (or literally any ship)

Actually really disappointing to find people like this on ao3 which is a safe space for so many people and was actually developed to protect writers from being stolen from and taken down

But as someone who has written a good few of those fics, and only writes 4463, this was really hurtful to read not just in general but in a reblog from me directly.

You don’t have to like my work, I’ll survive, but to have your work called abysmal to your face is deeply unkind. I don’t even go as far to say this with ships I hate.

This is so funny to me though because the merc family really seem to have supernatural powers - Nico Rosberg with his selfie curse, Lewis and his thirst trap Photos that get people fired, and especially George, first with his Max and Red Bull predictions, and second with his ability to manifest people in front of him crashing out and getting on the podium
