He shielded himself from Ron's pathetic blubbering, snickering uncontrollably this time instead of being revulsed. For once, he wasn't too focused on germs this time!

" Revenge! " He boasted, cackling to himself. Ron's a pretty bad influence on him. " Now I'm the one with the jokes! "

" --Hey, wait, what's that? " He tilted his head, looking behind Ron. He didn't see anything, he was just wondering if Ron was dumb enough to fall for it again.

Seeing Ozzy have such a good time, Ron couldn't help but find his friend's laughter contagious. He was never one to take offence easily, and Ozzy's decisive victory over him was just another thing to be a good sport about. It was super funny after all.

——— " Pfft-- Hey, I got some jokes of my own! You didn't even let me say the best one yet! " Ron protested with a fake little pout in between giggles.

But seeing Ozzy point out something behind him ( again ), Ron paused for a moment. Surely, his good best buddy pal amigo wouldn't pull the same trick on him twice right...? That sure would be bold, even for him. And so Ron turned again, " Wait, huh? For real this time? "

Ron had been laying out the jokes tactfully; that last one was kinda weak for sure, but he was gearing up for the real kicker this time and that was something he was super hype about.

But as Ozzy's expression changed, Ron managed to pause his chortling long enough to notice it and tilt his head in confusion at his best friend's outburst.

——— " What? What's up? "

It didn't take much for Ron to entirely fall for it, turning his whole body to try to catch a glimpse at whatever Ozzy was pointing at. But as he looked around, he realized he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be looking for in the first place.

——— " Huh...? I don't see anything... " He trailed off, confusion palpable.

As soon as Ron turned around, Ozzy had whipped out a small bottle of hand sanitizer ( the contents replaced with water, of course ) and sprayed it at Ron's face as soon as he inevitably turned back around. He couldn't help it and started uncontrollably snickering the second he launched his attack, trying not to burst into wild laughter at his tiny " joke ".

" Gotcha. " He grinned evilly, clearly satisfied with himself. Ron wasn’t the only one that can pull a joke around here.

One second before disaster and--

——— " AA-- WWBBLBUHH BUH. PBBT. PLLLBBT! " He sputtered, trying and failing to kinda... blow the water off his face. Because it's water.

Ron stood there, dripping, soaking with a blank expression in the wake of his bespren's betrayal. And then he couldn't help but laugh too, devolving into a fit of giggles before trying to at least drain some of his hair of the water.

——— " Aw man, nooooooo... " He whined and pouted, but there was no bite, " You did get me after all! I totally never saw it coming! Like, literally, even! "

Ozzy's frown only grew deeper with each word that came out of Ron's mouth. Every time Ron spoke was another year off of his life, and clearly, his best friend seemed to enjoy that fact. Ozzy chewed the inside of his cheek, clearly vexed with Ron's behaviour, and also trying not to giggle at his so-called "jokes", continued staring impassively at him. But with the way Ron kept laughing, it seemed that's the reaction he expected and wanted. Then, something clicked in Ozzy's head, and decided, maybe he should play a tiny little joke back at him for once. Ozzy's frowning face quickly morphed into a look of shock, and he pointed at something behind Ron. " Oh my god! What is that?! " He yelled out, hoping Ron would turn and look.

Ozzy turned around in alert hearing his best friend call out for him. What was it, he wondered? Was there was an emergency? He looked at Ron in wonder as he smiled deviously at him, Ozzy's curious expression soon shifting into a face of despondence, a face as if he had just been told Madison had died out at sea, as soon as Ron opened his mouth.

..Admittedly it was a little funny hearing such random and childish words out of the blue, but Ozzy didn't want to laugh and give Ron the satisfaction, so he bit the inside of his lip and stared back at Ron with a deadpan expression, crossing his arms at him. Not saying another word and just staring blankly at him.

Hah! Gottem! Ron burst into laughter as soon as he saw Ozzy's expression. Ah, he always had the funniest reactions. Ozzy wasn't laughing, but he should know better than to expect anything serious from him anyway.

He raised up his hands as if saying 'Wait, wait, there's more!' as he tried to stifle his giggles enough to speak.

——— " Okay, okay, isang na lang, one more, I promiseeee-- " He held up one finger, but that was a lie. He had more to go if Ozzy didn't kill him for his crimes first. " Guess why. ...Chicken thigh."

——— " Ozzyyyyyy! Ozzy Ozzy Oz Oz!!! " Ron repeated the name like he was poking at his best friend-- Not physically, of course, because germs. " Ozzy, guess what! "

It wasn't a question. Ron paused and grinned like he was trying not to laugh. He literally just learned this from his older sibs, no clue if Ozzy already knew this, but it was new to Ron at least so it got him excited and giddy more than usual. But he held the silence in an attempt to be dramatic. The punchline was equally as 'dramatic' as he leaned in.
