FYI Adjuncts usually aren’t new to teaching at all. Most of them have been professionals for a long time or have been teaching for as long as professors have, but those jobs are so limited they haven’t had the same opportunity. Also with dept head up their butt and expected to do 18000 in order to prove their worth
