"this cant be canon!!!" "this is canon!!"
Eh I treat the whole whoniverse as shrodingers canon and just don't think about it too much and that's how I solve this problem Like yes these 2 things obviously contradict each other but EHHhhhhH they're both pretty cool so im gonna just ignore that and pretend they're both true and not true at the same time
My dear doctor, it's all canon, especially the contradictions.
not sure why it looks so fuzzy but a few weeks ago I tried to make Gallifrey in blender
normal conversations are being had around a certain discovery...
also @lerios
for no reason...
Narvin: It was a dark and stormy night. No really, it was. Seriously. Gallifrey doesn't often have lightning and heay rain and huge claps of thunder, and of course in the Capitol itself we don't hear much of it.
I love Narvin so much. Idiot.
This does mean at some point he read some cheesy horror book or two
Romana snuck some bad earth novels in his reading list to mess with him
Headcanon that Narvin reads the gallifreyan version of pulpy detective fiction in his downtime, like Odo in DS9
Any Gallifrey News Today 20 April 2026?
YES!!! PRAISE BE THE LORD RASSILON!
Award-winning, full-cast original audio dramas from the worlds of Doctor Who, Torchwood, Blake's 7, Class, Dark Shadows, Avengers, Omega Fac
We can settle the moustache debate.
Half moustache
moustache every second day, half moustache on sundays
Can we have moustache every other regeneration + trading moustaches with alternate selves?
From r/DoctorWhumour
In this week's session of the Doctor Who RPG:
The time lord PC shot Irving Braxiatel, after spending the last session "rambo-ing up" off screen while the others got to finally relax in a museum (the player had to leave early into the session).
Brax regenerated. A sad goodbye to old brax and hello to weirdly tall long grey hair middle aged man brax.
New Brax and the Timelord PC became friends pretty quickly after that. Bonding over their mutual distain for their Homeworld.
All the while, the other PCs were desperately trying to fend off a Sontaran invasion and quickly realising how deadly the system can be.
Anyway, I think that what modern Star Trek really needs is not some writer who knows the canon inside and out (because you can always hire someone for that), but someone who genuinely believes in it.
Not in the sense that, "Oh, they believe that a series will be successful", but someone who looks at all of cheesy stuff and all of the cringey stuff and all of the stuff about utopia and humanity's infinite potential and working to better yourself and the rest of humanity and the value of truth and science and diplomacy and reason over conflict and just...believes in it. Not pay it lip service in between action spectacles; not try to subvert it; not try to ignore it; but believe.
I think Lower Decks and Prodigy have been the best of the new series precisely because they were written in large part by people did believe in it.
Show of hands, who else thinks Brax is still on his first regeneration?
I say no given that the description of brax we’re given in empire of glass doesn’t really line up with the appearance of the brax we have now, also I think we do actually see him regenerate in a short story or something
The inclusion of the Shalka doctor in Rogue is the kind of canon fuckery I pledge to bring to Doctor Who should I ever be mysteriously made showrunner.
That and making looms canon.
Looms?
Looooms
Looms :)
implying very strange things about my opinions on doctor who by typing out "doctor who (1985 – 2003)"
Who deserves to say fuck in Gallifrey the most
Romana
Leela
Narvin
Braxiatel
K-9
Wynters
Ace has been removed from the poll for skewing the results.
'The average Time Lord is possed 3 times a year' factoid actualy just statistical error. average time lord never gets possessed. The Time Lodr PCs in my home game, that live in the Doctor Who RPG & get possessed over 10,000 times a day, are outliers adn should not have been counted.
Choosing to believe Romana in the anomaly Vault, counting versions of herself, is having an eighth man bound moment.
