Starting over

It’s become more apparent that getting to oregon is going to be a secondary goal. We both are scheduled to start new jobs here in wisconsin, Jay on Sunday, and I’ll find out my start date later this afternoon.

We are sleeping on the living room floor with my aunt in her tiny one bedroom apartment. My mom decided that it’s too much for her to let us stay with her any longer when i got discharged from the county hospital on Tuesday night. She is not stable enough to have us living with her, it’s interfering with her routine and she’s openly told me how much my presence is unwanted.

Since we are both working, we need to be able to get our own space so that we can focus on our transition progress, and maintaining employment.

Jay won’t receive a first paycheck until 8/8, and Mine will very likely be the following Friday, as my start date has yet to be determined.

We are getting back on the right track to becoming stable again. We are humbly seeking assistance with paying for our security deposit and first months rent at our own place. Having our own space again is absolutely critical.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has offered their support.

I went to a barber for the first time today. I had always been too nervous because I felt like I didn’t belong, but it was a really affirming experience.

So I dyed my beard. I was super worried it would turn out awful, but it’s actually not bad.

I am one month post op as of yesterday! The scabs have finally come off of my nipples. I’m happy with the results overall. I don’t like the stretch marks, but I had a big chest so I’m not surprised. Really someone could have came in off the street and chopped the bad boys off and I would have been okay with it haha. But Dr. Gallagher do a great job and I would definitely recommend her.

3 weeks post op! Not having pain anymore, but I still have a lot of muscle stiffness. I want these scans to fall off my nipples. I’m awful about picking and they’re driving me insane!

My skin feels so tight it feels like I’m going to rip open when I try to stretch. I also have a lot of muscle stiffness that I didn’t even think about having. Planet finess just opened in my town and all I want to do is go lift.

Hello. As most of you probably don’t know, because I’ve just recently started to come out, I am trans. My name is Matt, and I’m FTM meaning I was born female but I identify as male. Like most trans guys, I experience dysphoria, which is fucking shitty, so I’ve started a fund page to help raise money to help pay a small portion of my top surgery I’m planning to get within the next 3 years. I know that sounds like a long ways away, but it’s a long process. Any donation will help, and I will be more than grateful to anyone who donates or even just shares this post.
