What if the reason Pandora Lovegood died was that she was trying to destroy the locket and it backfired. What if she and Regulus came up with a plan to destroy the locket, Regulus would retrieve the locket and write a letter, faking his death if anyone were to find it so that he and Pandora could work to destroy the locket without suspicion to where Regulus was going. After Regulus destroyed the locket he was going to tell Sirius that his best friend was betraying him because Sirius would believe Regulus then right? When Kreacher come back locket in hand without Regulus Pandora worked for several months to destroy the locket then on the 31st of Halloween she remembered what Regulus said about Peter; she rushed to Sirius and told him about his friend. When Sirius got to Godric Hallow it was too late. The next day Pandora heard the news, Sirius was in Azkaban, James Lily and Peter were dead, Remus was out of Reach. Dumbledore wouldn't listen but Pandora tried, she tried to get him to listen, she told him of the Horcruxes, the brave boy at the bottom of a cave, the innocent boy rotting in Azkaban, the traitor who was supposedly dead, Dumbledore wouldn't listen nor would he allow her to bother Mr Lupin for he needed time to grieve. Year's later Pandora found herself working on a spell to destroy the Horcrux, Luna was nine when she watched her mother drop to the floor, nine when a house-elf told her the story of a boy named Regulus Black, nine when a house-elf made her swear an oath not to tell anyone the story of her mother and that snobby Pureblood boy, nine when the house-elf named Kreacher took the very thing that killed her mother.
