“Thank you,” she stated, giving the woman a warm smile. “What’s your kingdom like? I can’t imagine your kingdom is in the desert.”

"It's not. Our kingdoms could not be more different. My homeland is more... perhaps it'll be easier to show you. Do you have an atlas of the world in your library?" Belle asked, she cold describe the forests and the rolling hills of her home but perhaps some context from a book would be helpful.

Royal visitors meant that Melody couldn't go swimming no matter how she wanted to.

Yes the wall was down and her parents were giving her more freedom, but she was still a princess and that came with certain responsibilities.

So Melody joined her parents to welcome the visiting prince and princess. She'd been told that the princess had a younger brother around her age. Which was nerve-wracking, especially when the young man in question got out of the carriage with his sister and brother-in-law.

Her parents went to speak to the prince and princess, which meant Melody needed to engage with the young man.

"Hello, I'm Melody. It's nice to meet you!"

As they walked Ariel's eyes wandered out to sea. So when Eric asked his question she had to tear her eyes away from the water.

"A little, I love it here, but I do miss them. I would hope if you ever had a chance to meet my sisters or my father, you'd get along, if for no other reason then the fact that you all love me."

eric  kept  his  gaze  trained  on  ariel.  a  soft  frown  forming  as  she  spoke.

❛ you  think  we  wouldn't  get  along?  what  makes  you  worry  about  that? ❜  he'd  wanted  to  meet  her  sisters  since  he'd  learned  of  them.  and  of  course  he  wanted  to  meet  her  father  as  well.  he'd  also  wanted  to  make  a  good  impression  on  them  if  they  did  ever  have  the  chance  to  meet.  which  meant  he'd  be  on  his  best  behavior.  in  his  mind,  there  was  no  need  to  worry  about  them  not  getting  along.

"I'm the youngest of seven and they aren't the biggest fans of humans." Ariel said, she hadn't really spoken about her family's history with the world above before now, just that going to the surface had been forbidden.

"My mother was killed by humans when I was very young... my older sisters remember her better than I do. After her death my father forbid anyone from going to the surface."

"I know, Snowflake, but you are still a gift." Iduna never wanted Elsa to feel like her magic was a curse, she knew some feared magic, but as someone who had grown up surrounded by it and by the spirits, Iduna could see the beauty in her daughter's powers.

Every year, around this time, I re-watch Anastasia and every time it appears to be better and better!
