"Under the Sun of Satan" - Georges Bernanos. I decided to do an illustration on each book I have been reading lately. It's been about a year now that I've decided to read books more seriously and regularly. For my entire childhood, books were synonyms of boredom and school work. I was never able to stay focused and looking at those objects full of words, emptied of all images scared me. Over the years I realized the gap between me and people who read books. I realized how much better they were at expressing their thoughts, how rich their vocabulary was compared to mine. I started to understand that I was missing out on the tool humanity has now been using for centuries to share knowledge, stories, traditions...
