Two main characters for my series Philadelphia that I am currently attempting to write. Well, i’m still planning some things but once i get all that sorted I will start with the story. First I need to throw out my character refs which I still have a number to go. Enjoy.

if meowth and persian would have regional variants in the Egyptian pokemon region, they would have black fur and have Egyptian collars like cats in ancient egypt. what do you think?

Well Meowth and Persian already have two regional variants so I wouldn’t be too keen on having a third one. I’d prefer it being a new pokemon entirely or maybe that it as a regional variant of Glameow and Purugly.

in a Egyptian Pokémon region, the starters would be based on a snake, (the fire starter) a crane, (the grass starter) and a hippo. (The water starter) what do you think?

Oh I would 100% die for an Egyptian based reason! I really like the desert environments in the pokemon games and those ruins were pretty fun in gen 5, be pretty cool to be able to have some HD ruins. For the starters I think they’d be interesting? I mean we already got a snake and hippo pokémon so the crane would be pretty interesting. It be legit so cool if the legendaries were based off of Egyptian Gods and you’d be able to explore and catch the legendary in a tomb based off where they were buried. What id like most is probably the outfits, I’d love to see outfits based of off Egyptian culture.

I honestly don’t know much about Egypt so I can’t really have a full opinion and be able to expand on that idea with complete knowledge, but i’d be totally on bored to be having a region based off Egypt. Maybe for future gens? Cause i’d like to see gen 9 be based off of Australia, i’d die for a kangaroo and emu based starter.
