I wrote a book like. An actual book. I just need to hit the publish button but I don't want to bc what if people hate it :(

It would be on barns and nobles (under a pen name hehe) and it takes place in an ambiguous 1800-1900s timeline. It's gay, there's mystery, theres cannibalism and if I could explain the book in a few words it would be toxic queerplatonic lesbians. I could also describe it as Sherlock Holmes if Sherlock didn't want to be a detective but a ballerina ✨✨✨ anyways. Here's the cover lol, I think I might just not publish it and keep it to myself. I have a physical copy, and I'm proud of myself!! I might even finish zee other book I was writing before I started this one! Actually I did finish that just never edited it and published it— WHATEVER ANYWAYS IT EXISTS NOW I CAN OFFICIALLY CALL MYSELF AN AUTHOR YIPPEEE

i wrote a gravity falls fanfiction (its very fun) and its a pretty basic plot. Bill is in the theraprism, sent to gravity falls to have more socialization (he stays in triangle form bc yay)

there is a tinnnny problem with all of this though. there was this tiny particle of Euclydia in bills hat, yeah?

Imma yap a little about it.

Takes place in the 1800-1900s, the three main characters are Benjamin Beckham, Annaliese Neschadymenko, and Aimeé Elise. Annaliese is a consultant who does not find joy in her job as a detective despite her intelligence. She thinks of this as her fourth or fifth choice of what she had wanted to do with her life but due to many challenges she's found those possibilities are out the window. Mr.Beckham is her assistant and detective in training, who frequently acts as her moral compass— a moral compass that only strays further than acceptable with the help of Aimeé Elise, a woman who is not afraid to get her hands dirty if she deems it necessary. Maybe a bit too dirty, with all the corpses of cruel men she leaves in her wake.

Annaliese must choose to either follow what is "correct"— what the law says must happen to these horrible men, men who will never be properly punished, to hunt down Elise for she must be as cruel as they are...

Or, perhaps she should stray. To go about a path that will lead to proper justice and give victims peace of mind. Should she get her hands dirty, or do a job she finds no passion in?

In A Lesson in Ethics, Annaliese and Benjamin are constantly fighting between what they know is right and what they know is "correct." It's a story with commentary on the legal system, abuse, and at what point is something truly going too far?

There are several connecting short stories that all string into one overarching plot and an inevitable end.

The reason I named BillxCaine Digital Possession its because both like to be in control. Bill through possessing your body with deals, Caine through your digital mind. Also because it sounds cool. And also cause, if Bill possess someone, and puts Caine in someone's computer...they would be unstoppable together. In both dimensions....
