What a month!!!
We have had a very eventful 4-5 weeks! Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our elderly dog Marleen. She was 13 and a half years old and had been on medication (and reiki of course) for arthritis of the spine for over a year. Eventually the medicine stopped agreeing with her and despite trying different painkillers from the vet, she was put on steroids and we then knew that our time with her was going to be limited. However, it wasn't due to having arthritis that ended her life. She was recently diagnosed with an brain tumour!! So, it came to a point where enough was enough and she was suffering, so we had no choice but to say goodbye! A very sad, dark time for us as a family!! Anyway, we missed Marleen terribly and couldn't get over the empty feeling in the house. There was a time that we had the three cats and crazy Marleen running about. Now they had all got old and passed, we were left with a feeling of emptiness and darkness. After much thought and conversation, we, as a family, decided that we should get a puppy. Not to replace Marleen (She could never be replaced and we would never want to) but we needed a bit of life back in the house. The past few years have been hard looking after elderly pets and having to say goodbye, one by one. So, we now have a little apricot toy poodle puppy called Tanzi. She is absolutely adorable and has already bought so much fun and laughter back into the house! She literally makes us laugh so many times a day! Just what we all needed. Don’t get me wrong, I will still randomly burst into tears over Marleen. I miss her and probably always will. But Tanzi is a very good distraction! ;-) So, with all of that going on, I haven’t been about much so there are currently no special offers or prize draws running on the website but I will get back on track just as soon as I can! I also added the option of 3 or 6 month subscriptions for those who like a regular long session of reiki. I recently started offering personal 1-2-1 sessions which have been very popular. Since starting my business over 8 years ago now, I have never increased the prices of the distance reiki sessions. After some careful thought, I decided that really the prices needed to go up a little. I haven’t put them up by much and the 3 and 6 month subscriptions as well as the personal 1-2-1 have not changed at all. I have also added a new length session. You can now purchase a 2 week (14 day) session for only £8.50. I have updated the Free Prize Draw which will take place at the end of July and have a giveaway going on on the Special Offers page* And if you fancy earning yourself some free distance reiki, there is a way to do that too! You can get a free 48 hour distance reiki session by writing a short book review or you can earn yourself a free 7 day session by submitting an article for the articles page. All information can be found on the home page of the website :-) Also, I would like to take this opportunity to mention that I am also on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+, Youtube etc. The more website hits I get, the more ‘Likes’ on Facebook, ‘Followers’ on Twitter etc, the more it helps me and my little business and stops me disappearing from the map.
