Rapture in September?

At the time of this writing, many Christians and devout Jews are taking part in the Season of Teshuvah. This season last for 40 days.

What is the Season of Teshuvah? Teshuvah means to turn. Meaning turn from the sins in your life.

   I love this time of year because it calls for us to reflect and search our hearts before God. If there are sins or offenses in our lives, this is the time to turn from them and make things right with anyone we have wronged in the past year. Note: we should do this all year round,  however this is a special time set to do it with prayer and fasting.

  This year on the evening of September 6th to the evening of September 8th (Israel time, 7 hours ahead of U.S. ) will be the Feast of Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets is the 5th Feast in which God instructed the children of Israel to celebrate every year. Leviticus 23 gives us 7 feasts given by the Lord.

Passover

Unleavened bread

First Fruits

Feast of weeks/ Pentecost

Feast of Trumpets

Day of Atonement

Feast of Tabernacles

What we now see that the children of Israel did not see is that God Almighty was setting up a prophetic grid to show us what will happen in the future. The first 3 feasts shows us Jesus’ first coming. The 4th feast shows us the formation of the church. Then after the summer months we see the last 3 fall feasts, which is a mirror of the 2nd coming of Jesus.

The Feast of Trumpets - The Rapture

The Day of Atonement - The Tribulation

The Feast of Tabernacles - 1000 year reign of Christ.

Do we know for sure the rapture will happen during the Feast of Trumpets on an uncertain year?  No, not really. We do know that the first  4 feasts mirrors the events of Jesus’s death, burial, resurrection, and the formation of the church. So it’s entirely sound and reasonable to see how the rest of the feasts will play out. When we do a deeper study of the meanings behind each feast, we can clearly see that these feasts, were clearly set by God in a prophetic manner. There are no doubts about that.

   I say that to say this. We should always be looking for Jesus to come for His bride. However the way these feasts have been set up, we have many reasons to pay special attention during the Feast of Trumpets.

  Why?  First let me explain the 4 different meanings of the alternative names for this Feast.

Feast of Trumpets   - the priest will blow the shofar, a ram’s horn, 100 times. The last trumpet blast is the loudest and longest blast.

Rosh Hashanah - A new year or a new beginning

Yom Teruah - The day of the awakening blast

Yom Ha-Din - A reference to a day of judgement

Yom Hazikaron - Day of remembrance

Now let me show you a few verses of scripture that explains what will happen when the rapture takes place and see if you see a connection.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15:51-52‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭17:34-36‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

““And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you see the trumpets? Do you see the awakening blast as the dead will be raised and changed? Do you see the judgement? And do you see how He will remember those who are His?

Let me sum this up! Below are the first 4 feasts and the prophetic fulfillment in which each one represents. If you notice, each one was fulfilled in the order in which God gave them. Meaning, we can also see that the next 3 feasts will follow suit. Also meaning, if the Feast of Trumpets  represents the rapture, we need to be looking up!

Passover - Jesus was the Lamb of God.  

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

Unleavened bread - He was sinless. Without sin. He is the bread of life.

“And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”

‭‭John‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2:21-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

First Fruits - Jesus was the first fruits of the resurrection. He now gives every believer and follower of Christ life after death with Him in eternity!

“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Feast of weeks/Pentecost - church was formed.

“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Now all we have left is the last 3 fall feasts!

We know He’s coming back! The Bible speaks of two different returns. One for the church! And one with the church! We know a war of Magog is on the horizon. We know a 7 year tribulation is coming. We also know that we have 1000 years for Jesus to physically reign on this earth!

I don’t know about you, but I get a little excited around this time of year!

Use this time to do an inventory of your life! Clean house! Get it in order! Make sure your heart is right with God through His Son Jesus! Repent, meaning turn away from your sins. Read the Bible to get to know Jesus. Ask Him to help you do that. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and that He was raised from the dead, and you will be saved.

“if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Repentance brings a refreshing!

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I can tell you from personal experience, the only thing harder then repentance, is wishing you had done it sooner!

Afghanistan and Prophecy

What does this horrible situation in Afghanistan have to do with Bible prophecy?

    In the time I have been learning Bible prophecy, I learned that somehow power will be going back to the east. This was also something that would stump students of Bible prophecy. A lot of scenarios have been pondered on. I believe we very well could be witnessing this right now.

   It appears we have fallen as the superpower of the world and literally handed all of our power to the Middle East. Only time will tell.

   Prophetically we are looking for the rapture and also the Ezekiel 38 and 39 war. These chapters tell us that Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Ethiopia will all come together against Israel. If you notice in the map I attached, these countries surround Israel. Although Afghanistan is not mentioned specifically, what has happened in the last few days has no doubt strengthened and emboldened these enemies of Israel and the United States.

   Those who study prophecy always wondered why America isn’t seen helping our ally Israel. It appears all of our questions are being answered.

   Not too long ago in our history, all of the nations listed that will be coming against Israel were pro western. Jews were living in their land. Now the United States is hated because we played a major part in Israel being restored. All of the pieces are coming together. In fact, everything Jesus told us would be happening, is happening. The Bible tells us all of this! And as scary as it is, I’m so thankful we have His word to pull us through.

  So what will happen when these countries come against Israel? Let’s read a couple verses from Ezekiel 38.

“You and all your allies—a vast and awesome army—will roll down on them like a storm and cover the land like a cloud. “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: At that time evil thoughts will come to your mind, and you will devise a wicked scheme. You will say, ‘Israel is an unprotected land filled with unwalled villages! I will march against her and destroy these people who live in such confidence! I will go to those formerly desolate cities that are now filled with people who have returned from exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder, for the people are rich with livestock and other possessions now. They think the whole world revolves around them!’”

‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭38:9-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“You will come from your homeland in the distant north with your vast cavalry and your mighty army, and you will attack my people Israel, covering their land like a cloud. At that time in the distant future, I will bring you against my land as everyone watches, and my holiness will be displayed by what happens to you, Gog. Then all the nations will know that I am the Lord.”

 I could shout every time I read this! This will be a huge event. One that is believed to usher in the rapture. And also soon after that, the antichrist will rise to power and sign a 7 year peace treaty with Israel, thus ushering in the 7 year tribulation.

   We are living in the days when everything the Bible says is going to happen, is happening! Everything might seem normal as it always was, however read what Jesus says here in Luke,

“When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all. “And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building— until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”

Prophecy update!

If I ever doubted that we are in the end times, I have absolutely no doubts now. It appears that at the turn of a new decade, bible prophecies are ushering in at a speed that is shocking to the core. However, I didn’t expect to see what I have seen this week.

Disclaimer: I am not saying these things are the fulfillment.  I am saying however, these things without a doubt are a stunning prelude to the actual fulfillment.

   For many years students of Bible prophecy never could pinpoint exactly what the IMAGE of the beast spoken of in Revelation 13 would look like. It was all over our heads at what this thing could be. Well this week, I got the shock of my life, when I seen exactly what it very well could be. First I want to show you Revelation 13. Then explain it the best I can for those who may not be familiar with it.

“And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Now let’s skip down some…

“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

  These verses are telling us that there are 2 entities coming. The antichrist and the false prophet. The antichrist will be given authority to rule the whole world. The false prophet,  believed by many to be the pope, will assist the world in worshipping the antichrist. There will be an IMAGE of the antichrist that will be made to be worshipped by the whole world. Also there will be an economic system put in place that no man can buy or sell unless HIS (the antichrist) mark is placed in/on their right hand or forehead.

   This past week, I saw the very possible preludes to 2 prophecies in these passages.

   I have to say as creepy as these things are, it was even more creepy when YouTube removed the video from End Time Headlines reporting the tattooed QR code an hour after it was posted.

   To many, these things are just fun, convenient avenues in our world today. But to those who know the Bible, and know Bible prophecy, we know where this is headed.

    Jesus is coming back soon!!!!! Sooner then we all think. If you don’t know if you will be taken in the rapture, I want you to know for sure. Repent, turn from your wicked ways. Get to know Jesus by reading the Bible. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Revelation 13 will be taking place in the 2nd half of the 7 year tribulation. If you’re raptured you won’t be here for that. Don’t take any chances. Get your heart right with God. He is about to pour out His wrath on the unbelieving sinful world. Come into covenant with Him who died for you and rose again to give us eternal life with Him. He died to reconcile us to the Father. He shed His blood to pay the fine we owe. In Him we are set free and become children of God. Spread the word. Time is running out!

A note from Heather!

Hi everyone! I wanted to give a small update to let you know of a couple changes I’m making.

    Instead of putting out an article every Monday morning, I will be posting articles and/or nuggets of what I feel are important prophetic events through the week.

  I am currently preparing 2 articles and 2 nuggets to come out within the next week

   Afghanistan and Prophecy, Is there Evidence of a Literal Hell?, Season of Teshuva, Feast of Trumpets and the Rapture, and The Giant Technology. Could this be the Image of the Beast spoken of in the book of Revelation?  

   All of this coming in the next week. If I’m a little late don’t worry, believe me I’m scrambling and praying to get it all done

   I’ve also started the process of designing my own Christian artwork.  More on that later down the road.

How to pray for Afghanistan

I heard something the other day that changed the way I think about prayer. Our prayers give God the legal right to move. Now I know what you’re thinking. God doesn’t need our prayer to move. That’s what I always thought too. But the Bible specifically teaches us to pray about everything. Ezekiel 22:30 James 4:2

Philippians 4:6-7

  We need to pray for the situation happening in Afghanistan. Below is a list of who and what to pray for.

First begin by acknowledging we have sinned against Him.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Americans stranded in Afghanistan - for protection and open a way to get out.

     2. Christians are being skinned alive, burned, and hung - Ask God to bring protection to the Christians and bring confusion to the enemies that have told them they are coming for them.

     3. Provision for all they need to live and be a witness.

     4. Pray for the Afghan people. All men, women, and children.

     Protection for the children from sex traffickers and forced marriages.

     5. Protection for the military that is there.

     6. The Afghan people who spent years helping Americans. Many have a target on their back, pray for supernatural protection.

     7.  And I know this is a hard one but ask God to give our President and others in leadership position wisdom in the next few weeks.

This situation is a huge mess and the God of heaven is the only one that can help us!

God can bring good from evil. The Bible is full of examples. Also pray for the Taliban. Why? Because Paul, who wrote most of our New Testament, was one of them at one time. He too murdered Christians. Then He had his road to Damascus experience where Jesus appeared to Him and changed him forever. Pray that there will be some Taliban that will experience a road to Damascus moment. It can happen! I’m believing it will. Many Muslims have reported “ the man in white”  named Jesus who appeared to them and are being saved.

   Pray like you would want to be prayed for if this were you in this situation.

Why is SIN so serious?

Before I begin telling you about hell, we need to talk about sin. One common theme in all of the pages of the Bible is the consequences of sin.

   I believe there is much confusion in the church and the world at large of the consequences and destructive power of sin. If you have ever seen the Passion of the Christ, you have an idea of how severe our sin is. Many people think sin is just apart of our human nature and God shouldn’t make us pay for just being human. However, if you are in this camp you need to understand where sin comes from and the damage it has caused and is still causing today.

   In the first chapter of Genesis, we see that what God created was good. In Genesis chapter two, we see He then formed the man Adam from the dust of the ground. Then He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living soul.  The Hebrew word for the word breath here is (nesh-Aw-maw) which can be translated breath or spirit. Now read this passage in John chapter 20.

     “That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord! Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

    What was Jesus doing here when He breathed on His disciples? He was restoring the Holy Spirit back in mankind. Not just mankind but His children.

     You see, many don’t understand this very thing. Many people “think” we are God’s children by default. We are not. Sin separated us from God. Adam and Eve died spiritually when they obeyed Satan and disobeyed God. The Holy Spirit that was breathed in Adam and Eve by God left when they sinned. Now do you see how serious sin is?

     Now let’s talk about why we sin?

   The serpent, the snake that Satan possessed (Yes he can possess animals) came to Eve in the garden. He tempted her and deceived her. She listened, talked with, and believed him. Then she ate the fruit. Then sin came into the world. Into mankind. A balance of power shifted at that moment. Let’s look at what happened when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness.

“Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’

Notice the devil said, “I will give it all to you.” Also notice Jesus didn’t say it’s not yours to give. Let’s look at what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:4

“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.”

    This one act of disobedience to a holy God changed every thing.

Jesus tells us in John 10 that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. Satan saw what God created and from the beginning is doing all he can to destroy it. That’s why God prepared hell for Satan and his angels. Matthew 25:41

  What many don’t realize is if they aren’t actively following Jesus, they are following Satan. Matthew 12:30

The Bible makes it very clear, we are children of one or the other. Satan or God the Father of our Lord Jesus.

“So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

‭‭John‬ ‭8:44‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  Why do we die? Why is their death in the world? Read Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Why are there natural disasters? Volcanos, earthquakes, tornados etc?

“For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:22-23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

   There are many many more verses I could get into in this weeks article but I pray you get the point thus far. I speak even to myself when I say we need to take sin more seriously. Turn away from it. Keep a repentant heart. Come to Jesus in prayer and sincerely ask Him to forgive you, wash you clean with the water of His word, and baptize you with His Holy Spirit. Read the Bible. Study it. The more you give your life and heart to Him, Satan and sin won’t have territory in your life.  Jesus will set you free. This doesn’t mean you won’t be tempted. Or mess up. But you will find victory from glory to glory in the name of Jesus!

The Fall of Man

A few months ago, I was awakened from a dream/vision. As seen in the photo above, I appeared to be under the earth, looking up, seeing a man falling down toward me. I heard a voice in my right ear say “The Fall of Man.” I woke up and knew in my heart, I just heard the audible voice of the Lord, for the first time. I wasn’t frightened. I knew He was revealing something to me.

I’ve been taking the last few weeks to think and pray about why the Lord gave me this dream/vision. At first I thought maybe He wants me to study the subject of hell. So I did. Then I thought maybe he wants me to study “The Fall of Man” in the garden? One day I got a check in my spirit, and then I knew why He let me see this. He wants me to have the boldness and the courage to tell people about His offer of salvation and what He saves us from.

So I’m going to spend the next couple of weeks, blogging about hell and the fall of man in the garden with Adam and Eve. I believe if we can completely understand these two subject matters, it will change how we look at everything. Studying hell is something I encourage every Christian to do. It will open your eyes and give you a heart more anxious to tell everyone about Jesus. I will list some resources below.

Until recently, I always believed that God would make sure every person that will be saved, would be. That He would make sure they was saved, before they took their last breath. This subject is a huge debate in the theological circle. However, I no longer want to think along these lines because if i think like this, there are going to be people dying all around me, leaving me to wonder, was there more I was suppose to do? To say? In my case, the answer is yes.

So I believe that is why the Lord showed this to me. I had a friend recently rebuke me and said “you are too old to be caring about what people think.” This person is correct. I needed that rebuke. It’s time for me to plunge forward and do what Jesus told all of His followers to do. Or else I will have a lot of blood on my hands. Ezekiel 33.

“Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves.”

The Nation of Hope!

Yes it’s true, even the disciples of Jesus thought that Jesus would return in their day. Moving ahead 1000 years, yes believers in Jesus thought they were the generation that would see the Lord’s return. Now here we are, 2000 years later, and now I as a believer in the Lord Jesus believes He is coming back in my generation. So, what’s going on here? To the natural mind, bible believing Christians look totally crazy!

    In defense of these Christians through history,  many things the Bible speaks about that would be occurring just before Jesus returns, was in fact taking place. Nero was thought to be the antichrist. Then fast forward to Adolf Hitler, was also thought to be the antichrist due to everything he did to the Jewish people. However, all of these dear brothers and sisters in Christ, overlooked ONE VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL.

         ISRAEL

There are tons of Scriptures in the Bible that tell us, Israel will be a nation. Given back to the Jews. The Jews will be brought back from the four corners of the earth. Jerusalem will be back in their hands. And they will blossom like a rose before the Messiah, our Lord Jesus returns.

    This is one of my most favorite Bible verses:

        “But the time is coming,” says the Lord, “when people who are taking an oath will no longer say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who rescued the people of Israel from the land of Egypt.’ Instead, they will say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the people of Israel back to their own land from the land of the north and from all the countries to which he had exiled them.’ For I will bring them back to this land that I gave their ancestors.”

To those of you who do not know about Jewish or Israeli history, Israel ceased to exist in A.D. 70. The Roman government salted the land so nothing would grow. For almost 2000 years, Israel was a wasteland. Mark Twain’s journey to the holy land in 1867 is recorded in his book Innocents Abroad. He describes his disappointment as he saw the emptiness and ruin of this land.  However, we see in 1917, God began to set in motion, events that would lead to the miraculous rebirth of the nation of Israel. From the ashes on May 14th 1948, Israel was reborn! Israel is the super sign for the return of the Lord.

So why is Israel a super sign? Because over and over Scripture tells us, God will do this! God will revive Israel and bring His people back to their land. And He did!

   If this doesn’t get you excited, or send a chill down your spine, you don’t get it. The Bible has told us in advance the things that will take place. It hasn’t been wrong yet. Sometimes Christians in our folly can misrepresent our Lord. However if you want to really see what God is doing, look at His prophetic word, and look at the world. Folks, everything that is occurring in our world is happening just as the Bible told us it would. I’ve now lived long enough to see things happen that when I was a little girl, couldn’t even imagine.

   As you know, my goal with Rejected Treasures is to help you understand God’s Word. If I would to list every Scripture that points to the nation of Israel, it would be too many to list. I however may do a recording to explain why we know Israel has to be in existence when the Lord returns. The one chapter I want you to look at is Isaiah 35. This chapter must have baffled the minds of those who lived through the hundreds of years from AD 70 to 1948. Think about that, WE are seeing something in our time that many people could only hope for. The nation of Israel!

    There are many different belief systems out there and we all think we are right. All I can say, is read your Bible and ask God to help you see the truth. One thing most Bible believers don’t debate is the fact that Jesus is coming back. Be ready!  

Repent from your sins and give your heart and life to Jesus Christ! Study His Word. Pray for His help to understand it.

Beauty From The Ashes. My Very Transparent Story.

I’m just going to be straight up in telling the choices I made as a result of feeling rejected. It’s not anything I’m proud of but rather extremely ashamed of. This was a time when I was in a battle for my soul and at a crossroads of what to believe. I know so much more now about what the Word of God says. But as I want to show you, when you don’t know His Word, you can be easily swayed to go in directions that only lead to destruction.

As a result of feeling totally rejected, the two W’s haunted me every second of my life. Why? & What’s wrong with me? I began to seek ways to ease my pain. Thoughts of suicide. Sex. Porn. Drinking. I tried to drink as much as I could to get rid of the pain in my heart, but I could never drink enough before getting sick. I watched porn to verify what “I thought” I was suppose to be like. I ended up addicted to it for years. Then I felt that I needed “validated”. I “needed” a man to tell me there was “nothing wrong with me”. Out of that I made some terrible decisions that I’m now only ashamed of. I was feeding off of another opinion and not God’s. The one that really matters.

We “as Christians” need to stop judging and criticizing people that do these things and ask what are they going through to make them choose such behaviors. They need the same thing I needed. And that was Jesus and His Word. The Bible says in Psalms:

“He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.”

I couldn’t find healing, peace, joy, satisfaction, fulfillment, in anything but Jesus and His Word.

I started listening to an ole Tennessee preacher, Perry Stone. Little by little as he taught me the Word of God, through all the DVD’s and CD’s and YouTube videos I could get my hands on, my life and heart started to change. My heart and mind began to soak up all of God’s wisdom I could consume. My days began to be full of excitement as I was learning something new everyday. And still today is no different. The preaching and teaching of the gospel and the Bible is so beautiful to me! The Lord took my darkness and gave me His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

I remember the day I decided I was never drinking alcohol again. I was listening to a message from Perry. He explained why nothing good comes from drinking. I walked over to the drawer and took my wine opener out and threw it away. I began letting go of every thing that didn’t honor God in my life. I was scared, bc this was not the first time I told the Lord I was all in just to have something take my attention again, but this time I meant it. I’m putting my relationship with Jesus first. I’m done living my way. With my agenda. My hopes. My dreams. The Bible says, Delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. I want what He wants. And I want to serve Him and fulfill the purpose He has for me. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is where I have finally found peace, joy, love satisfaction, and total fulfillment.

I pray for anyone that is suffering from feelings of rejection. I pray they find this article and know that no matter who you are, or what you have done, Jesus Christ loves you no matter what. Seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him. Don’t give up on life. You can have some extremely happy days ahead of you. Put your trust and faith in your Creator, our Lord and Savior. If you haven’t done so already, repent from your sins, and call on Jesus to save you. I promise, you won’t regret it. In fact, you will be thankful you did from here to eternity.❤️

How I got the name “ Rejected Treasures” for my ministry.

I found myself in the darkest moment of my life. I felt worthless. I felt like trash. Rejected. Embarrassed. Humiliated. I was so deep in this pain, I couldn’t get out. I tried everything I knew to do at the time but I couldn’t find peace. Peace from this nagging voice in my head. Asking why? What’s wrong with me? Those two W’s haunted me fiercely for months…even years.

One morning, as I laid in bed. I all of a sudden, had a breakthrough. A light pierced my soul. Jesus. He walked me through His experience to the cross. How He had been rejected. Spit on. Hit. Mocked. I asked Him, “Did you feel embarrassed and humiliated? “

His answer to me was “Of course.” He spoke to me in my spirit and said, “ There’s nothing wrong with you. This was done to me and I AM GOD!”

I then ask the other haunted question. Why? I then remembered, what the Scriptures tell us,

“As they were nailing Him to the cross Jesus cried out, Father forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”Luke 23:34 NLT

This pierced a burst of light and healing into my soul. From that day forward, I gained more understanding and felt more bonded to the Lord. For He knew exactly how I was feeling and He comforted me.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

From this experience with Jesus, I realized we are rejected treasures. Just because someone rejects you, doesn’t mean you are worthless. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you. The person that has “rejected” you, more then likely, doesn’t know what they are doing to you. After Jesus died on the cross, one of the Roman officers looked up at Jesus and said, “This man truly was the Son of God.” Mark 15:39 Can you imagine how he felt?

Feelings of rejection can be detrimental to a persons soul, life, and mind. During this time, I made a lot of detrimental decisions because of the lies this feeling produced. I am going to be very transparent because I know if this could happen to me, there are others out there as well that would feel and do the same things I did. In future articles I will explain what the feelings of rejection did to me and the decisions I made that only made things worse. If I can help one person that feels rejected, it’s all worth it to me.

So where did I get the name Rejected Treasures? It was when I realized I shared this same feeling with Jesus. I’m His treasure and He is mine! Just because you have been rejected, doesn’t mean you aren’t a treasure.❤️

The Blessed Hope in the Bible!

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”

This week I’m going to talk about the hopes and promises of God found in Bible prophecy.

Many churches are not teaching Bible prophecy. If they are, there are several different views of eschatology. Eschatology is the study of the end times. Here is a list of some different views.

Views concerning the rapture:

7 views Christians hold:

1. No rapture

2. Partial rapture

3. Pre trib

4. Mid trib

5. Pre wrath

6. Post trib

7. Rapture taught but unknown when it will occur.

3 main views concerning the 1000 year reign of Christ. (The millennium)

1. Premillennialism

2. Postmillennialism

3. Amillennialism

Views concerning the seven year tribulation. ( The book of Revelation)

1. Preterist interpretation

2. Historical interpretation

3. Allegorical interpretation

4. Futuristic interpretation (My Interpretation)

Many Christians have decided to stay clear of eschatology and remain agnostic about the subject.

This is understandable but unfortunate. The Bible says the Lord will crown those looking for His appearing,

“And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.”

From the beginning to the end of the Bible, God shows us He is All Knowing, All Present, and All Powerful. He has told us many things that will take place in the near future.

Bible prophecy proves that the Bible is real and is truth. And that we have a Creator, a God that is faithful and true.

The eschatology view that I hold is Premillennial Dispensationalism. This means I believe the rapture will happen before the 7 year tribulation and that Christ will physically return at the end of the 7 years, defeat His enemies, bind Satan for 1000 years, then set up His Kingdom and literally physically reign for that 1000 years on earth. The church will be taken out before the tribulation period and a remnant of Israel will be saved (they will finally see that Jesus is their Messiah) during the tribulation.

Why do I love studying Bible prophecy? Growing up, I went to church with my mom. My mom told me not to read the book of Revelation. She said, “Don’t even touch it.” Many people neglect the book of Revelation due to its heavy symbolism and frightening content. So for years when I had a Bible in my hand, I wouldn’t touch the pages of Revelation. One day, I received a book about the end times in the mail that I had requested. I read it and my eyes were literally opened to God’s truth and I was hooked.

Reading and studying the book of Revelation brings us a blessing. Revelation 1:3 says:

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

I enjoy knowing what God tells us about the future.

Yes, there are very scary things on the horizon. However, Jesus has promised us that if we love Him and trust Him, He will save us. Jesus said in John 14:

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

This is Jewish wedding talk. This is why I believe the rapture will happen before the tribulation. Jesus is telling us that those who love and trust in Him, are His bride. I am in the camp that believes Jesus isn’t going to beat up His bride and then marry her. He will take us out of here, then judge the unbelieving world for it’s sins.

The God of the Bible is our righteous and holy judge. A righteous and holy judge has to punish sin or else he wouldn’t be a righteous and holy judge. I understand this. I hope you do too as well.

The Bible has 66 books written by 40 different authors. 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament. I like to use the terms Old and New Covenant. I will explain more about that in a future article.

The Old Testament was written originally in Hebrew and a small amount in Aramaic. (Daniel and Jeremiah) The New Testament was originally written in Greek. When doing a deep study of the Bible, you need a word for word translation to study from. Examples are KJV or NKJV. The NLT is a thought for thought translation meaning you won’t be able to study the meaning of original words from this text. You can use the W.E. Vines dictionary or use one of many great softwares to do word studies. This is very valuable due to meanings getting lost in translations, especially with our English language. I will list the links of some softwares at the end of this article.

TRANSLATION ALERT: There are reasons to believe that The Passion Translation should be avoided. Below is the link to the video by Mike Winger explaining all the serious concerns about this translation.

Access to many different translations of the Bible for comparison. I recommend YouVersion.com and download their app!

Important notes to make:

Why italics are used in our bibles?

Italics are used when the translator needed to add a word to the text.

What is a footnote?

A footnote is extra information added by the translator. Usually needed linguistic or background information.

What are cross references?

Cross references are the markers that display other verses that relate to the verse you are currently reading. This is an excellent resource because in doing this, you’re letting scripture interpret scripture.

I find it exciting because when it comes to the Bible, there are endless things to study. It’s up to you in what order you want to study it. Study each book. Who wrote it? When was it written? To what audience was it written? Where was it written? Study the people. The places. The culture. The names of people. The list goes on and on. I will do an article on each book of the Bible and the people of the Bible periodically.

Why should you read the bible?

The answer is simple and yet profound. You should read the Bible to know the heart and mind of God. Our Creator. The Maker of heaven and earth. Imagine going on a hike. Looking at all the trees. Landscape. The sky. The sunset, or sunrise. Hearing nature bustling around you. The breeze. Lakes. Rivers. Even the little bugs and creatures and crawling things. The first chapter in the book of John says, “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. God wants us to know Him. He wants us to seek Him. He wants us to know what has been, and what is to come. Those who say, we know something is out there, but there is no way we can know Him, all I can say is 🙄. From the Bible, we can know our Creator’s heart and mind, as well as have many of our questions answered. So let me show you some easy ways to start reading and studying the Bible.

#1. Invest in a pair of wireless ear buds! You can listen to the Bible while working around the house. I clean, prepare meals, do laundry, and even listen to the Bible while eating. You can always fit in time to listen to the Bible. I like to make sure I listen to at least three chapters a day. Set your own routine. Listen and be blessed with the knowledge and wisdom God shows you!

#2. Where to start? I suggest starting with the books of John, Acts, and Romans. These three books all follow each other and will show you who Jesus is, how the body of Christ came together under great persecution, and the consequences of sin and how to obtain eternal life through the one and only savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord.

After you have done this, you can read or listen to the whole New Testament first, and then front to back with both the Old Testament and New Testament.

#3. Old and New Testament surveys! This is an absolutely MUST! And one that I had to come across myself. No one ever told me what an important step to understanding the Bible this is. I will have the link to my favorite Old and New Testament Survey below to purchase them if you’d like. These two important resources explains and clarifies what the Bible is saying to us. Because we live in a different time frame and our customs, cultures, traditions, and languages are so different, we have to learn these things to understand God’s Word to us. This particular set of surveys is my favorite because of the simplicity skills of the author. The author inserted charts so we can visually and categorically understand what we are studying. He brings everything together in a quick easy format. Old and New Testament surveys can be very pricey but this set I got for about 20 dollars. A must have!!!

#4. A great study Bible. What exactly is a study Bible? A study Bible is a Bible with extra notes, illustrations, charts, maps etc. This makes it a lot easier to learn more about the subject in which you are studying. Below I will have some links to some great study bibles I have purchased.

#5. Apologetics! Apologetics is a study within scripture to answer the hardest questions. The Bible can be difficult to interpret or seems contradictory at times. Apologetics helps to clarify and understand what may have been lost in translations or culture. There are many great apologists out there. I currently tune in to Mike Winger’s YouTube channel for great insight into Scripture. Mike is very humble and holds great credibility with his teachings. Check him out!

#6. Ask God! Of all these important steps I showed you on how to know and study the Bible, this is the most crucial. Ask God to show you that He is real. Ask Him for His wisdom. For His Holy Spirit to guide you where He wants you to go. And He will. We can do nothing without Him. In the 1st chapter of James it says, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”

Christianity without the Bible!

Disclaimer: I am sharing my experience only and in no way saying that every church experience is the same. There are many great churches out there, and should be sought out for fellowship and discipleship.

I went to church for about 10 years from the age of 23 to 33 but it wasn’t until the age of 40 that my eyes were opened to the true gospel. Through a television evangelist named Perry Stone.

I said the sinners prayer when I was 11. Anybody that knew me knew I believed in Jesus. However, I didn’t know the Bible. What ended up happening at church was, one to two verses were being read, then the rest of the sermon tended to be geared toward some life application story. No opportunity for questions were ever given. I was totally lost when it came to the Bible. So I just took in the pastor’s message and that was it.

I recently heard about a study that was done. It was originally thought that we were losing our children in their college years. But in fact, it was during their Sunday school years. The church was teaching the Bible in a storybook fashion instead of historic fact. When my daughter was little, she had a little children’s book that told the story of Jonah. The picture on the front, was a big whale, with a little man siting in it’s stomach. Are we really surprised when children grow up, they don’t turn to the Bible for truth and hope? I’m not.

About three years ago, I came across The Manna Fest show on YouTube. I started listening to it as I was putting laundry away. This got to be a habit of mine. I was totally blown away by all the historical and archeological information Perry shared. I started to read my Bible and everything started to make sense to me. My eyes were finally opening. Why? Because truth was finally being told to me. I started reading the Bible myself. Getting to know God intimately. Coming to true repentance. Repentance, and true teaching of the Bible, through discipleship, was what I was missing. Sadly, many churches are failing in this area. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others learn and know the Bible. There are a lot of false teachings out there. We need to know His Word. It has power. Power to heal, deliver, restore. To redeem. With it we have access to God’s wisdom. So now, I want to show you what I wish was shown to me years ago.

Christianity without the Bible is exactly what Satan wants. I did it for years. My lack of understanding of it kept me distant from it. Resulting in a lot of wrong turns in my life and in turn looking like a hypocrite. I was playing right in the devil’s hands.

Next week I will show you what exactly is the Bible and where to start. My goal is to keep it simple. Not bog you down with too much too fast. I believe if you follow the steps I will show you, you too will be blessed by seeking God in His Word. Because in His Word, is the very essence of life!

Q&A: Authenticity of Scripture!

I hope you enjoy this question and answer piece I’ve put together. I found this was the simplest way to provide this valuable information in the shortest format. As always, feel free to message me with any more questions you may have.

Q. How do we know we are reading Scripture as it was originally written?

A. Unless you know Hebrew and Greek you won’t be reading the scriptures as originally written.

Q. What about all the translations? How do we know the contents haven’t been changed?

A. In short, the earliest original manuscripts always ensures and proves what we have today is accurate.

Q. Has there ever been a scribal error when translating?

A. Yes, but very rare and minute. Mostly punctuation or numbers.

Q. Should the movie The Davinci Code, effect my opinion about the Bible?

A. No, the movie is baseless with many false claims and errors. Our Bible was organically preserved by God and our early church fathers. The counsel of Nicaea was about the deity of Christ, not the Bible.

Q. Why are there so many translations?

A. There are so many different languages in the world. In order for everyone in the world to be able to learn Scripture, they need bibles in their own language. In our English language, we have so many translations because English keeps changing.

Q. How do we pick what translation to read? Are they all reliable?

A. Most of them are, but no not all of them should be read or studied from. We have to educate ourselves on who translated the version in which we are looking at. I am very particular with what translation I am reading from. There are many good ones. However, I only read KJV, NKJV, and NLT. It’s fun to compare with other translations when studying. However I mainly stick with these three.

Q. How can I go deeper and learn exactly how the canon of scripture was collected as we have them today?

Q. Have we found archaeological evidence pertaining to what has been written in scripture?

A. Yes!!! Thousands upon thousands!!!!! Evidence of people, places, even gravesites of those mentioned in scripture! Also, the evidence of the other gods that were worshipped that the Bible speaks of have been found. You can learn more at iSOW.org and take the Biblical Apologetics course.

Q. Is there historical evidence concerning scripture? Where can I learn about this historic evidence?

A. Yes! We have many historical writings from secular historians and our early church fathers. Go to ISOW.org History of the Bible course.

Can the Bible be Trusted even though it was written by Men?

I find the hardest reason to share the gospel with people in this generation in which we are living is because many people don’t believe in the accuracy of the Bible. Many will say it’s been written by men. So I’m going to share why I believe the Bible and know that the Bible is not only accurate but is God’s Word to us.

The men that wrote it has earned my trust. Most of these men suffered for giving us the message written in Scripture. Most of them died for it. Torturous deaths. Why would they die like that for this message? What have they seen that made it worth dying for? What did they experience? Answer: They experienced the real true God of heaven and earth. They knew the truth because God showed them the truth. So when people say the Bible was written by men, I have decided to trust the men that suffered to give us the Lord’s message. Israel. When you study the history of Israel, whether through the Bible or secular history, you will find God’s promises coming to pass over and over. Whether it’s good or bad. Our God that created heaven and earth and us for that matter made His self known through Israel and the Jewish people. If you want to know what God is doing, look at Israel. Studying this subject has been the most exciting adventure of my life. I will be doing future articles talking about Israel and the true miracle of it’s existence.

Prophecy. The Bible is full of prophecies. Many of them have already been fulfilled. And many are being fulfilled as I write this article. (May 2021) I remember being a little girl back in the late 80s. My mom and I were discussing how the Antichrist will be able to track everyone on the planet. How every eye will see an event happening in real time at the same time. It was totally mind baffling back then. Now over 30 years later, there is no question how this could happen. I wish my mom was here to see what I see. She also said to me “Heather, when you start hearing about Israel a lot on the news, you know the end is near.” Oh how I treasure her words today. Bible prophecy is coming to pass at a rapid speed. Why all of a sudden you may ask after thousands of years? Jesus told us, when the fig leaves are blossomed you know summer is near. Matthew 24. Israel is back. 73 years now. Israel is the fig tree. It’s time for the return of our Lord❤️

I have a huge book of information that shows what has been found in archeological digs in Israel. (It’s called Zondervan Handbook of Biblical Archaeology by Randall Price with Wayne House.) Archeologists are always in constant pursuit to find the many pieces of treasures that point to places and people of the Bible. I will share in future blogs some amazing finds! Same for scientific evidence. (One reference is Scientific Facts In The Bible by Ray Comfort.) Science has not proven the Bible wrong. The Bible told us things concerning our universe way before a scientist ever did. Like the earth being round (Isaiah 40:22) and hanging on nothing (Job 26:7). We know many things from the Bible that scientists are now learning and seeing through their microscopes and telescopes today. Historical evidence also proves the Bible to be true. The book of Daniel is very exciting to read when it comes to historic world empires and events. I encourage you to take a deep dive in all of the above heaps of evidence. It will change the way you see everything and the way you think about your life and the world you live in.

The religious Jews protected the Scriptures. Before a scribe can even begin to start copying a manuscript or a scroll of the Torah, he must learn 4000 laws that will ensure no mistakes and to honor every Word written. My heart. My testimony. My story is a long one with lots of twist and turns. However, when I look back over my life, the Word of God was always staring me right in the face the whole time. Then one day I finally started to dig deeper into what was in the Scriptures. Then my life started to make perfect sense. No more confusion. I knew my purpose. I now know where I came from. Why I’m here. Who I am. And whose I am. And where I’m going after I die. I know what I need and don’t need. What direction to take. How to make decisions. I now know why every thing I did on my own didn’t work out. How to live my life from here on out. That’s why I’m starting to write these articles, hoping I can reach someone, anyone, with the gospel of Jesus. This is where our hope is. Every answer to life’s questions. Our salvation. The Bible has changed a lot of lives. I’ve heard a lot of testimonies. Amazing stories of the Lord through His Holy Spirit reaching down in someone’s heart and drawing them to Him self and changing everything. Rescuing them from addictions and toxic relationships. Toxic thinking. Jesus brings us clarity and direction. Am I saying life becomes perfect? NO. If anything, giving your life to Jesus and following Him sets us up to be hated and rejected. For some it has caused severe persecution, imprisonment and even death. But with anyone that truly has accepted the gospel and has given their life to Christ, because we know that forgiveness from our sins is only found in Him, and He’s our Savior, we know it’s all worth it. For in Him is eternal life!

The devil hates the Word of God. If you really take a look at the hate some have for God’s Word, the Jews, and Christians, you will see it’s such a unreasonable hate that it can only be supernatural and demonic. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. He has blinded many to the truth. Many people see God as responsible for all the evil in this world. We have to understand that satan is the god of this world. He will do whatever it takes to keep people from seeing the truth spoken of in God’s Word. Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of sin and the destruction it causes. I’ve heard people say if there is a God, why did He let the Holocaust happen? The answer is, That was satan’s doing. Not God. Satan knew that according to bible prophecy, Israel will become a nation again by the supernatural hand of God. Because He promised it. Satan wanted to kill every Jew so there would be no Israel. He failed. We are in a war folks. Between good and evil. I’m here to tell you to pick the right side. The side that leads to life. Eternal life.
