I ship choicale but i think they’d be in a very lowkey relationship.
like on their days off, they share a bed and cuddle a lot, and cale sleeps in after choi han gets up for the day. they kiss a little but that’s the extent of their physical side. they’re affectionate, cuddling in bed or with choi han coming up behind cale to rest his head on his shoulder to take a break. but that’s it and rarely around non-family.
honestly, I could really see on, hong, and raon all piling in bed with cale and choi han at times and it’s not really a problem because it’s not like they’re doing anything that NEEDS privacy. theyd just be in bed cuddling with choi han holding cale and three kids slowly trickle in and find space for themselves.
cale’s bed is big enough that it really only becomes an issue once the kids are grown but at that point they’re (hopefully) not all three piling in bed with them. cale silently decides to get a bed that’s even bigger once raon starts to have a hard time staying on the bed and only stops once there’s no casual way to get an even bigger bed and has to fight really hard to keep his emotions in check that his kid doesn’t fit anymore.

• they’re both on the asexual spectrum. I lean towards demisexual for both but could easily see cui buqu as fully asexual.
• feng xiao often comes across as disliking women because of his extreme disregard for their attractiveness, but it’s entirely because he thinks he’s more attractive than them and is only attracted to cui buqu.
• people often flirt with him and he finds a way to mention his beloved (though he does it in unflattering ways to the point people think he’s weird for being into them — this is canon).
• when feng xiao wants to share a bed or cuddle, he will force cui buqu to bathe. if he’s too tired/sick to bathe himself, feng xiao will just do it himself (cui buqu complains every time but allows it).
• feng xiao is like…extremely into being called cui buqu’s wife. he refers to himself as cui buqu’s wife as a joke and goes quiet because he like … actually really likes the idea.
• similar to the above, cui buqu jokingly calls him princess and he likes it a little too much.
• feng xiao likes to get especially dolled up when he wants attention. he uses the perfume he knows cui buqu likes and wears clothes he knows his husband likes and lounges enticingly and sighs dramatically until he gets the attention he wants.
• feng xiao is the type to ask the, “would you still love me if I was a worm?” questions because he knows it annoys cui buqu (he tells him no <3).
• they both use every opportunity they have to piss the other off and it works. the only difference to before they got together is that they often end the tension by kissing.
• whenever cui buqu gets extremely sick or injured, feng xiao threatens to kill him himself and bitches until he’s better as he’s literally nursing him back to health gently and lovingly.
• as feng xiao’s hair grows back out, cui buqu helps him take care of it. part of their routine includes feng xiao’s demanding hygiene routine and cui buqu brushes out both of their hair and sometimes puts little braids with a singular matching jade bead in each of their hair (neither acknowledge this).
• along with the above, feng xiao pouts if cui buqu is too ill to do it for him and then forces cui buqu to let him do both of their hair. cui buqu will be lying there in delirium as feng xiao braids a bunch of little braids into his hair as complains about the stupid people that they have to work with.
• cui buqu runs COLD. he wraps himself in furs and coats constantly but feng xiao is like a space heater so he just wraps himself tightly around cui buqu like an octopus to keep him warm. cui buqu is trapped and pretends to hate it but he sleeps the best when he has his idiot wife latched onto him lovingly.

• I don’t think either of them have a very high libido. they have other things going on and are more likely to spend their time bickering and lying in bed together than anything sexual.
• feng xiao likes doing all the work then complains that he does all the work. he will often literally swat cui buqu’s hands away when he tries to take matters into his own hands, but complains after that he’s “tired” and “you made such a mess of me and didn’t even put in the work for it”
• jokingly asked cui buqu once if he wanted to get him pregnant and proceeded to nearly fall off the bed when he got up too fast because cui buqu started wheezing.
• feng xiao almost always initiates but he refuses to ASK. he hints at it over and over and gets frustrated because cui buqu ignores him unless he outright asks or makes a move, but ughhh how dare his husband not chase him!!! it goes on until he gets fed up and whines that he’s too beautiful to be ignored this way and just kisses cui buqu.
• they have had several mishaps during sex. part of why feng xiao has decided that HE does all the work is because cui buqu has had several coughing fits during sex when he exerted himself too much.
• aftercare consists of feng xiao forcing them both into baths and giving cui buqu qi. cui buqu gives soft touches to feng xiao’s hair and face for his part (if he doesn’t snooze after).
• feng xiao is extremely aware of his own attractiveness, but will occasionally get a bit nervous that cui buqu isn’t as attracted to him anymore and baits cui buqu into looking/acknowledging his beauty until he feels better (often involving the few times cui buqu is the one to initiate sex).
• they’re switches but feng xiao’s favorite thing is to ride cui buqu because he likes that it gives cui buqu a very good view and really shows off for him. he also complains if cui buqu closes his eyes until he looks at him again.
• the best way cui buqu can throw feng xiao off his rhythm is complimenting him. he is a sucker for it and will become a total wreck in moments over it.

I’m going to give two. the immense trust and respect they have for each other. the respect for boundaries and neil’s attention to andrew’s needs is great. and also, I love that they’re two major red flags that ended up being total green flags for each other

my fanfic brain would say while neil was on the run with his mother. my actual thought is somehow while neil was on the run post high school. they’d meet when neil is hitchhiking or running from someone and andrew just finds him and is like … do you need help? or something like that!

I know there’s the fandom opinion of neil being a fox, which I could definitely see! I will go with andrew’s comments of him being more like a raccoon or a rabbit tho haha. andrew is a cat to me, a pretty white cat that growls at everyone except his bonded pair, neil. tbh, I see both of them as very cat-like (in the stray cat kind of way)
