Blaze woke up automatically due to staying out in the wild most of his life. “Eh.. Oh! Hey Cynda!” Blaze smiled brightly at the Quilava. He didn’t take notice at the Joltik was hatched but he was surprised that Cynda had came to visit.

The Quilava smiles at Blaze, nudging him a bit in greeting glad to see he was well. "Hey Blaze, I see you've been taking care of some baby pokemon. That's really sweet of you, I hope you don't mind but I named the baby Joltik Tula." She states, smiling as she mentions to the joltik was on her back. She was actually very happy to see the other again but needed him to know one of his eggs hatched after all.

The rather small Joltik nodded. She didn’t mind being named anything at all it just meant she had a place to be and that was pretty much what she wanted. Though despite being a Bug and an electric type, she did feel like she belong in this burrow. After all she was hatched here was she not?

Blaze was still asleep in the other room,he hadn’t had rest for two days straight since he had created this burrow. He tried his hardest to make it large enough for humans to enter without get themselves killed. He should have been more alert for the fact he was sleeping curled up around Tula’s egg, therefore he should have noticed some movement of the egg hatching.

Cynda smiles brightly at this as she nuzzles the Joltik a bit, very pleased with this. "Alright then your name is Tula. Let's wake up Blaze I'm sure he'll be happy to see you hatched." She chirps as she allowed the pokemon to cling to her back, walking over to the room where the sleeping pokemon laid. It nudged the Cyndaquil a bit, it's been a while since they last saw each other but she hoped he didn't mind the surprise visit.

The Joltik had recently hatched about 4-3 hours ago. This Joltik was female. Though the Cyndaquil never had thought of a name and saved this one for someone he truly liked. But enough of the Cyndaquil and to the Joltik. This Joltik wasn’t afraid at all,she was rather a brave hatchling. Even when hungry she’d try to find a way to wait and be patient,not knowing how to speak at all she’d only make small squeaks to attention from time to time.

Well what is this? Cynda never seen such a pokemon before then again she lived only in Johto and Kanto so a Unova pokemon was practically unheard of to her. The fire pokemon gently pap at the Joltik then jumped back when it sparked. Getting into a crouching position, "Who are you?"

Then she realized it was only a new born... Well it's pretty cute. She stops her fire and looks at the pokemon curious.

When Cynda was taken to the emergency room, Silver was told to wait at the front of the pokemon center. It was nerve wrecking for him to wonder on and on about what could have happened to his partner — as well as if Cynda might die or not. It brought him to the verge of tears, but he resisted the urge to cry. He had to stay strong. He plucked one pokeball from his belt, staring at the pokemon inside blankly. Hypno. Perhaps Hypno could figure out what had happened through her memories? Then he could transfer the thoughts to him.

Silver released the Hypno, giving it the order and watching as it snuck into the emergency room. Nurse Joy had left the pokemon inside, so it was all up to Hypno now.

Meanwhile, Silver sat up on the bench, propping his head up in his knees before hiding his face away. He didn’t want anyone to see him so close to crying. He couldn’t let anyone see tears of blood, they would assume he had internal bleeding or something of that sort. He couldn’t scare them.

Keep calm… you will find out what happened to Gold soon. He told himself. You have to leave it up to Hypno now…

Cynda was whining as the Hypno snuck inside, her claws digging into the mattress of the incubator before relaxing again. It was obvious what ever happened distressed her greatly. Though she wouldn't be able to convey it right even if she wanted to so using a psychic pokemon would be a safe bet.

The young pokemon perked when she heard someone coming in, opening a weak eye to barely see Hypno. She growls slightly at the other unsure and hostile to the unfamiliar face but at least she wasn't startled enough to attack outright. Which would end badly for the both of them if it were to happen.

She pulls herself up a bit, weakly before falling back down to tired to want to question him. As she remembers Silver owned a Hypno, likely wanting to figure out what had happen with the pokemon psychic. Pretty smart though Silver might not like what she seen and experienced...

Why did his heart feel so heavy? A soft sigh escaped Silver’s lips as he walked across the city, staring at nothing in particular. To anyone walking past, it would appear that he was watching his feet with each step he took, that is, until he heard the pitter-patter of little feet beside him. He moved his gaze to the side, spotting an injured Quilava running in fear — a Quilava — Cynda!

Silver rushed over to the Quilava, frantically scooping her up into his arms. The flames on her back had gone out. For some time, the redhead was too shocked to speak. If Cynda was this hurt, what happened to Gold? Had he made a bad choice again? Had they done something to mess their plan up?

“Cynda…”

He mumbled desperately, crimson tears forming in his eyes.

” …Cynda, hang in there…”

He ran quickly toward the pokemon center, holding the pokemon close to him. This scared him so much — he knew something would happen — he knew he should’ve trusted his gut, but like an idiot he had ignored it! This was going to end bad like last time, wasn’t it?

I guess Mewtwo likes keeping us on our toes…

Reaching the pokemon center, he set Cynda on the front counter, exchanging no words with Nurse Joy. They both knew something bad had happened and Nurse Joy was smart enough not to question him about it. He didn’t want to think of the possibilities.

The pokemon growled weakly as Silver picked it up trying to speak but seeing as she couldn't speak human it fell on deaf ears. It began to whimper as it simply laid in the others arms to exhausted to resist or fuss as she was brought to the pokemon center. Her breathing was heavy and she was in pretty critical condition so the Nurse had to react fast when she was brought in.

The Nurse was shocked with how injured Cynda was, it wasn't like a simple pokemon battle. This was injuries of a one sided attack with barely a chance to fight back, especially with how the fire pokemon can't even try to bring up a flame to warm herself. She was put into a incubator and a mask was put over her nose and mouth to pump more oxygen into her as she was having a hard time breathing.

It was going to take a bit of time for her to recover before she can even try to explain what happened. Though it's obvious that whatever it was, it wasn't good news.

Cynda was panting, scars all over her body as she walked the streets. Her flames dwindling as she tries to keep herself composed. Her trainer had done a stupid act and nearly got them all killed and in the act ended up getting injured herself. Her mind was damaged as she walked the streets of Goldenrod hoping and praying someone would help her.

However after running for so long in blind fear and the damage to her mental state from the pokemon she couldn't last long. The volcano pokemon cries out as she falls onto the floor, her flames going out as she lays there. Unmoving and exhausted, letting out small cries begging.
