I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m not good at adding multiple tones. Should I practice more on that or just kind of play to the type of coloring I actually can do well?

Let me rephrase, I’m not good at adding multiple *realistic* tones. Simple shading and two-tone shading I’m ok with
