The Power of Media & Information, and the Responsibility of the Users.

We consider media as a powerful because of providing information and helping people their needs. Media is all we need in our daily lives. Because, this is not only giving us information also communicate to others. The responsibilities of the users is to avoid risks in internet, secure the accounts and be aware on the details that are provided on internet. Aside from media, we can provide or have a information by television, radio, or in newspapers, Because we can watch, listen, and read a news from that technologies or any print media. Then we can see a advertisements or endorsement that have a parental guidance and reminders.

In media and information, there are some ads, websites, and apps that we use everyday, we get information by the gadgets that we use and not all of that are safe or has a disadvantages, the one is victim of bullying or we call that "Cyberbullying", scam, fraud, or phishing that are steal your identity and your accounts, so that they can use it. The internet has a good lifestyle for us, but we don't know the risks of internet. We can be a victim of Bad people that we have to avoid. Like in human trafficking, they use online chat, you don't know personality and because of that some accidents in social media by the internet you have to be secured and safe. Don't let anyone use your identity, to be a victim and most of all to destroy your life.

You need to know the limitations of the internet, the rules and also for your privacy. As a users you have to be responsible in everything, community, people, internet or social media and in your self. Because now we are in 21st century, so people now a days, are more focusing on social media, so you have to be careful

For me, internet is more useful for me and I think all has a internet, but i have to be wise, read carefully and be secured for all websites that i open. Media is more powerful to there some people who are abusive some people internet, so i have to be careful and be secured on my privacy.

How Social Media Is Bad for You

=It can change your perception of the world and yourself, and not always for the better.

1. Depression and Anxiety

=you’re more likely to report poor mental health, including symptoms of anxiety and depression.

2. Cyberbullying

=While social media made making friends easier, it also made it easier for predators to find victims. 

=These online attacks often leave deep mental scars and even drive people to suicide in some cases. You’ll be surprised to find out that cyberbullying isn’t just affecting kids, but also full grown adults.

3. FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)

= FOMO is basically a form of anxiety that you get when you’re scared of missing out on a positive experience or emotions that someone else is getting.

4. Unrealistic Expectations

=This one probably comes as no surprise, but social media helps you to form unrealistic expectations of life and friendships. The networks that do it most are Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Those are the social media platforms that severely lack online authenticity.

5. Negative Body Image

=Today, body image is an issue for many people of both sexes.

=And not everyone comes to the right conclusions in this situation.

6. Unhealthy Sleep Patterns

=On top of increased rates of anxiety and depression, spending too much time on social media can lead to poor sleep. 

7. General Addiction

=Social media is often described as being more addictive than cigarettes and alcohol. With the worst social media apps being Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat when it comes to addiction.

How do I choose from the wide variet of Information made available by different sources?

I choose information in different sources by reading the article,opinions or an essay about my research,searching through different text or format of information.

There too many informations that you see in different websites,some of them are all you need in your research but not all of the informations you see is you have to write or type in your research.you have to analyze, read and understand the informations, your research and what is the connection of information to your research.

The new media that we have now in our daily lives has a different resources, websites,apps,etc. That we can use in our research,essay and presentation.we choose apps that we use in our presentation, websites that we use to research and resources and to have an idea about the information that we need for our research and so on.

If i will always research a websites or resources. I can make my own websites,link or information in some resourceful apps like in wix,wordpress etc.
