Tessa Thompson arrives for the World premiere of Marvel Studiosâ âAvengers: Endgameâ at the Los Angeles Convention Center on April 22, 2019 in Los Angeles.
Ramsey Haller â´
âDo you often speak to him? Cause maybe you should ask him how he feels just to check. He might actually be okay with the weight. Maybe if you gave him an apple too?â Ramsey offered as an easy smile fell on her face.Â
âI speak to him all the time. And sing on occasion,â the witch said with a smile. âHe really is a sweetheart. A bit of a brat though because he knows I love him very much and heâll eventually get his way. He's rather spoiled.â
Claire Davenportâ´
âRa as in the Egyptian Sun god?â she asked. âThe Egyptian people are truly fascinating. I recently received a book as a gift highlighting some of their history and beliefs. Also their evolution of technology is amazing as well. How they managed to build such solid structures in such a short amount of time although how they did so was very inhumane.â
Remington wasnât surprised by the nobleman womanâs knowledge. She was hundreds of years old, it would be more baffling if she didnât know anything. The witch raised an eyebrow. âThey were hardly the first nor will they be the last,â she replied, blandly. She was sure that the book was very forthcoming in detail of the transgressions of those that looked like her.Â
Theodore Antonov â´
âI feel like youâve misjudged me, Remi because one, manslaughter refers to killing humans and last I checked, vampires were already dead. Which everyone seems to forget. As far as spineless weasel is concerned, I didnât force anyone to buy anything and anyone with half a wit wouldâve known they were faulty rings. It wasnât like I was doing a great job of hiding that anyway. Besides, how many people have sold shady shit at the Frey? I literally canât be the only one. And third, youâve decided to hate me without knowing me, Ms. Duvalâ which is more of a shame on your part because for a second, it seemed like youâd be better than that.â
The Duval with knocked another arrow and let if fly. The projectile flew passed his face and embedded itself mere inches from his person. âMy name is Remingtonâwe are not friends, do not get familiar. I suggest you vacate my presence because I assure you, Mr. Antonov I wonât be so generous with the next arrow,â she hissed, narrowing her eyes at the witch.
Harrison Vance â´
âIf only you could read his mind, perhaps he would tell you what to do instead of using him for his job?â Harrison smiled as he looked over to the other witch. â Do you want any help?â
âIf only,â the witch agreed with a small laugh. While it would be an easy enough task with her talents, the Duval would the animal talking to her shapeshifting friends. âHow kind of you, sir. Thank you.â
Arthur Valeâ´
âI could assist you with carrying it,â Arthur offered. Happy to be of assistance, even if it simply improved a horses day. Although, having spent time as a horse Arthur probably understood how it felt better than most. âDonât want to give your horse cause to revolt, or give you the stink eye.â
Remington shook her head in amusement. âHe wouldnât dare,âshe replied, beaming at the old family friend. Itâd been some time since theyâd run into one another. âBut if you really want to.â
Claire Davenport â´
âI could lend you another horse.â Claire said eyeing the one before her. She wanted to reach out and pet it, but didnât want to startled the poor creature. âAlice is my personal favorite. Sheâs strong and fast. I doubt thereâs another like her not to be too boastful. Visitors always want to but her from me to breed, but sheâs too wild and free for them.â
âOh, no need,â the witch reassured with a polite smile. Sheâd never gotten over her trauma with werewolf and the amulet around her neck notifying her of the close proximity of one wasnât helping. âRa is a rather strong willed but heâs a sweetheart most of the time. Thank you, though.â
âMy steed is going to give me the stink eye when he sees how much Iâve brought,â the witch chuckled, looking down at the abundance of items sheâd purchased in the market. âIt happens any time I put anything over 3 kilos on his back, aside from myself that is.âÂ
                 Lady Remington Duval
Scholar, Professor of French at the University, Healer
Addison Vale â´
She made a face, âFine, Iâll stop whining, just let me shoot something already, Rem,â Addison laughed, waiting for her friend to get in position so she could mimic her motions. âHow long have you been doing this again, Legolas?âÂ
Remington handed over the bow with a smug look on her face. âTwenty years,â the witch answered, used to the common question whenever asked about her skill. âAnd itâs Arwen to you,â she corrected. âGet into what you assume is the position and Iâll fixed you.â
Shira Rosen â´
âThatâs so cool!â And not that unusual. Shira supposed she had been learning about midwifery all her life as well. It was just what your parents got you into young, she supposed. âSee, you make me actually want to do this as more than a âha-ha Iâm going to try this and suckâ hobby,â she laughed, the target coming to a stop by them.Â
âAlways glad to be an inspiration,â Remi chuckled, shaking her head. Surprisingly, the young werewolf had lifted her spirits a bit. A feat when sheâd been in such a dark head space. âIâm Remi.â
Kennedy Tallis â´
Kennedy reached out, taking Remiâs hand and giving it a squeeze, âI agree. I think we should take this fucking fight to them, otherwise theyâre just going to steamroll us and then what? We sit around as more people die around us?â
âHow the hell are we going to do that, Ken? We donât know anything about them. Nothing, substantial that could actually help us anyway. Weâre fighting an enemy we canât see.â
Estella Montgomeryâ â´
Making drinks was a simple task. Estellaâs fingers brought the making to a finish as the flat of her finger tips gently plucked off a few elderflowers from their ripe stem, and allowed them to float on top of the ice, and liquor. It was a sweeping thought of how florals such as these were glorified heavily by artists along the years. One she particularly loved, a Glaswegian artist who flourished herself in botanical art printed out on Japanese woodblocks, unfortunately the artists fate was dreadful, but most of the passionate ones came to a close that way. Art was something to always admire, and she did, strongly.Â
âFor you.â Greeting her dear friend on her indoor porch, Estella passed one drink to Remi by the skinny stem. ââand this,â a bowl of pasta, something quickly made to soak up the elderflower gin. The older brunette gathered her own drink, and bowl before curling her legs up on a cushioned end of the couch. The room was filled with greenery that almost tricked you to believing you werenât in such a heavily concreted city. âFunny, isnât it?â Estella quirked. âJust a week ago I was extracting this little white budding flower to cure a cold, and now I am using it to cure my daily stress.âhow purposeful.â There was a hummed laughter on her grin-a coated sarcasm, and a roll of her eyes that spoke of honesty. âPlease, please, tell me your life has been more exciting that mineâ I need to live vicariously..âÂ
@remiduval
âMerci,â she said softly, thanking the older witch and taking the offered food and drink. âI assure you the kind of exciting my life is you donât want to live through vicariously. Or at all for that matter,â Remi replied, letting out a self-deprecating laugh. It was strained and rightfully exhausted sound. These last few weeks had been strenuous on her body and psyche. Of course, making helped more often than not but magic couldnât fix everything. It didnât completely stop the night terrors nor keep the sudden and sporadic exhaustion at bay. âIf anything I need my life to go back to being boring.â
Yael Jacobs â´
âYeah, I donât knowâŚI guess people are just fascinated by Europeans for some reason. I think itâs because you all just seem like, I dunno, more refined? Donât worry, Remââ I wonât treat you differently,â she snorted, âand I wonât try to practice my third-grade level French at a random bar to try to get your number.â
âEuropeans can be just as barbaric as Americans. Honestly, itâs like people donât read history books at all. Who do they think pillaged and colonized this land? Aliens?â She questioned, rhetorically. People could be so asinine. âOh, no, please do!â The witch chuckled, shaking her head. âI need the amusement in my life.â
Felix Tremblay â´
Felix smiled and nodded, his eyes twinkling a little with mischief, âOf course. Not everyone is so good at alchemy. And not every ingredient is made equal.â He looked down at his torso and sighed, patting his side, âI do have two. So I guess if I must spare one to see a good spell made then I will have to make peace with it.â
âIf youâre lucky, sheâll give you a new customer discount and only take half of he one,â Remington replied, her tone playfully optimistic. âThen again, it could be worst and she could want your liver. Honestly, itâs a bit of a toss up. Barter at your own risk, cheri.â
Julian Rhodes â´
âOh, come onâ youâve seen the state of this city, you canât blame us entirely.âÂ
Remi laughed. âAmerica was self absorbed before the supernatural terrorist showed up.â
