Klaus + Forehead touches with people he loves.

HENRIK:
It wasn’t what it was but Henrik knew he couldn’t argue with his brother. Not right now, not about this of all things. “This is home?” he questioned so softly it was almost a whisper. This was there home – and he couldn’t quite bring himself to look around yet. “My home was always where you were.” It was true. It didn’t matter that many of the trees were gone or that the fields had been paved over. His home was always with his family, no matter how broken it was. Henrik took a breath before finally wrapping his arms around his brother. He gave that familiar little pat to his back and he took another breath. Henrik was alive. Niklaus was alive. They were alive. “Always and forever.” Henrik repeated. Those words, they seemed so familiar to him but he wasn’t sure why. They just seemed to make a lot of damn sense in that moment. “I missed you, Niky.”
Yes, this was home. Yes, Mystic Falls had changed in over 10 centuries--of course it had. But he held his tongue and instead gave a simple. “Yes. It has changed quite a bit, hasn’t it?” It was easier talking to Henrik then anyone else, easier to be good and kind. He was expecting his good older brother, he wasn’t expecting the Klaus everyone knew and hated. That was... nice. “I missed you too Henrik.” His tone was softer, so much so most wouldn’t even believe it was his. He was the big bad hybrid after all, not the mourning older brother.
JOSIE:
“ that may be true, but she’s still my mother. i was raised by her for twenty-one years, her personality was bound to reflect in my own eventually. ” josie admitted to klaus with a simple shrug before giving him a nod. “ yes, i’m josie – also known as the less extreme of caroline’s twin daughters. ” she mused with a gentle laugh.
“it hardly takes much to be less extreme then your sister.” so far, eh didn’t like the other saltzman twin one bit. carolines daughter or not. josie, he hadn’t decided yet though.
#smol, broken child#just wants his big brother back.
VERENA:
VERENA listened as the male spoke and without hesitation, she could tell that he was one of those – a man with a temper. her reminded her of her father, and not in a good way. letting out a sigh, verena looked at the male before her. “ are you always this cruel to strangers? ” she asked with an arched brow.
his gaze left her, about to go back to his objective until she spoke. with a tint of annoyance in his voice he spoke. “are you always this nosy?” sighing, he decided he may as well answer her questions. perhaps she’d go away. “strangers are inconsequential. you mean nothing to me, i don’t know your name nor do i care to and if you speak it i won’t remember it. its simple as that.” rude? yes. but true. he had no time for strangers, he barely had the time for family, friends and acquaintances.
JOSIE:
JOSIE was sure that klaus was shocked by the amusement she found in the other man’s suffering. when she was just a witch, perphaps things would have been different and she would be the docile little girl he was expecting, but death changes a person – he of all people should understand that. noticing the expression on his face, josie rolled her eyes. “ don’t look at me like that. i’m no worse than my mother. ”
AMUSEMENT flickered across his eyes at the comparison. “your mother is a separate person then you are, josie-that is your name, isn’t it?” he knew caroline’s story all too well, in fact he even had some hand in playing the role of villain in it at times. he also had played hero. it was a long story indeed, he didn’t know josie’s however. not at all.
REBEKAH:
IN this moment, rebekah felt bad that she had bothered her brother about something so trivial for so long and then turned it down once she’d actually had the chance, but she knew that klaus would understand in the end. she was fully ready to continued to explain her change of heart, but instead she was caught off guard by klaus’ words. his words were comforting in a way that most people would expect klaus mikaelson to be. then again, he’d always had more of a softer side when it came to rebekah. when he had finished, bex gave him a gentle smile. “ thanks nik. ” the blonde hummed softly. “ you truly don’t know how much that means to me. ” she told her brother simply. “ perhaps someday there will come another opportunity for me to find humanity. ” she added, almost hopeful. when he told her that living a safe life and starting a family wasn’t impossible for her, rebekah smiled softly and nodded. “ i know it’s not impossible – just far more complicated as a vampire. ”
QUITE honestly, he didn’t. as much as he liked to set himself up high on a pedestal he knew all too well where he really laid, the manipulative, daggering, bastard brother.harsher then any of them would say, he knew-and yes, he had changed in ways. their relationships had evolved. but when it came down to it, he was still that person. and if he thought it meant protecting them he would dagger any of them without a thought. “i truly hope there will be.” he said sincerely, if any of them deserved it it was rebekah. eternally stuck as a teenager when all she ever longed for was adulthood and a true life. “complicated yes, but not impossible. never impossible.”
HENRIK:
“Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve.” Henrik mused to himself rather than his brother. “I do not blame you, brother, and I wish you wouldn’t blame yourself.” That was the last thing that Henrik wanted. For Niklaus to blame himself for something that he couldn’t control; unaware of just how deeply Mikael’s words and threats had dug themselves into his mind and into his heart. Henrik instead gave his big brother that smile. One that told Niklaus Henrik could never see anything bad about his big brother even after death. It’s vaguely in his mind that Niklaus had been a werewolf but it didn’t matter at that moment. When Niklaus helped him down and his bare feet hit the grass it took him by surprise. The feeling was so familiar yet so distant. His eyes met his brother’s but out of the corner of his eyes he could see the strangeness of this new world. “I am afraid, brother… That if I look around me I might faint. This is not home.” The backdrop of their surroundings were buildings and streetlights, people here and there just out of earshot but still so close. “Where are we, Niky?” By this point Henrik knew it was not a dream. The air in his lungs, the grass under his feet, his brother’s hands in his. No this was real. It all was.
He so terribly wished he could conform to Henrik’s way of thought, to the feelings the young man felt. But it was to no avail. Never would he be unburdened with the guilt of Henrik’s death, no matter Henrik’s say in the matter. “It is what it is.” There was nothing more then that to say on the matter. because Niklaus knew they would never agree. Then Henrik smiled and for a moment Klaus felt all his burden unloaded. Only for a moment. “Actually... this is our home, this is Mystic Falls. Though it may have changed in great ways it still remains the place where we were born, where we slept, and where we loved, this is our home.” He assured him. His hand reached forward and grasped Henrik’s shoulder giving it a tight squeeze to let him know that he was truly there. “If you faint it is alright, I am here. I will catch you. Always and forever.” And then, he did something ever so rare. He stepped forward and embraced his youngerest brother, and held him in his arms.
KAI:
The reaction he got, made him laugh. This character was something different; he could smell the human blood in him; and yet he could not see or smell any fear on him right now. Kai wondered why? He could easily find out, unless this was yet another human that knew how to protect himself from compulsion. He figured that much though, if he was stupid enough not to be afraid; he was most likely would know how. “ that only tells me one thing” Kai mused, and if it wasn’t for the fact that this man wasn’t afraid; he would have lost interest at this point; but he didn’t. Not just yet. “ you are boring, only boring people have a boring life” the vampire-witch hybrid explained to the other. “let’s go for a Margarita, I like how you say it” Kai said playfully.
he couldn’t contain himself this time, he let out a chuckle at the accusation of boring. :”i could see your logic.” he gave kai that, the idea was feasible and logical. “but just because a life is boring now doesn’t mean it always was.” he wanted to say how he had known emperors, kings, queens, popes, and more--all of which whose lives had been full and lively before they settled into boring ones. he wanted to say how he knew murderers, and men and women crueler then satan himself who had changed their ways and settled down. how his own family had all done so, all except for him himself. another chuckle gave at the man’s declaration. “splendid.”
JOSIE:
JOSIE couldn’t help but gasp as klaus punched the man in the jaw. she knew she should have expected it, but actually watching it happen was still a shock to the young heretic. josie watched as the man fell to the ground with his own look of shock on his face and she couldn’t help the slight giggled that fell from her lips. soon after hitting the ground, the male apologized – most likely only out of fear of getting hit again. rolling her eyes slightly, josie looked at the man on the ground. “ whatever – just be glad he got to you before i could. ” she muttered before glancing up at klaus. “ thanks.. ”
THE girl was giggling behind him and that action alone was quite telling. She wasn’t as docile as she appeared, he shouldn’t be surprised by it. She was Caroline’s daughter and that brat’s twin. her voice and tone were darker then the innocence that he had mistakenly believed she had. for a moment, he was unsure of what to say. he hated being unsure. but usually, as a hybrid, he would of been gone by now--most likely he would not of even interfered. but he was no hybrid. times had changed. “my pleasure.” he responded, finally.
VERENA:
VERENA had been going for a walk through the park when she heard the distant sound of gunshots coming from the woods behind her. wanting to make sure that it was just someone messing around and not someone actually in danger, the young witch wandered towards the sound of the shots. when she arrived at the source, verena was relieved to see it was just a bit of target practice. when she heard the other speak up, verena jumped slightly and looked over at him. “ s-sorry. i didn’t mean to interrupt your target practice. i was just curious where all the shooting was coming from. ”
AT first he thought it was a squirrel. If her dark hair hadn’t poked out he would of shot and he would of killed, she should count her lucky stars. the moment she jumped he let out a deep sigh, he had no time for this. he barley had the time for people he did know let alone people he didn’t-and he wasn’t interested in making that time either. “If you didn’t mean to interrupt then you would of seen and left. However instead you interrupted, if you truly are sorry then you could scamper off elsewhere.”
ELENA:
he’s vague and it only makes her skin crawl more. irritation and perplexity, was he doing it on purpose? he hasn’t killed her, that’s not a BAD sign, right? not suggesting anything good either. a sigh departs her lips, nodding head slowly, brushing some hair behind her ears that befalls her eyes. ❝ wouldn’t have anything to do with the mysterious well that brings people back to life, would it? ❝ she didn’t expect much of a response out of him, just more ambiguity but she had to ask.
of course she knew about it, he would guess that she knew about it all too well. she had many dead relatives after all. “take a guess.” he could of just said yes, or ‘of course’ or even the juvenile ‘duh’. but being cryptic was something he derived so much more pleasure from. “would it be fair to assume you’re well acquainted with it?” after all, she knew more dead then just relatives. friends, lovers, she knew many who had died.

what changes would you like to make to your life now that you've been given another chance
“Who said I’d like to make any?” The operative word was liked, the truth was it wasn’t something he wanted chose. It was something happening no matter what he did. He hated it, quite frankly. It was another chance but it wasn’t one he wanted, nor deserved. The truth, was that he missed being stronger. Killing, feeling powerful. This wasn’t a chance, it was a curse.
Send three characters and I’ll tell you which I’d rather have
