i wish i was an ancient orator so i could write really long and mean speeches about other orators i didn't like but instead my stage is the Qualtrics ResLife evaluation form and my work is the 700-word on-the-spot essay about how much i hate them. it has to go somewhere

the phaedrus is no fun at all i fear. when translating it, i like when there's some banter leading up to Socrates ripping the guy up, but it really launches into an entire+ stephanus page of Socrates monologue right away. where is the lively banter. sad and tragic

alternatively i do think that it's really funny that it's like the plato cinematic universe where (because they were real people) they know each other. and the existence of the symposium, and then the dialogues alcibiades, phaedrus, and protagoras all remind you that this is like, interconnected. and then you get to see the same characters again

I did get my grade back for the Socrates Dating Sim, which is a 100% plus some of my professor's suggestions for improving it. Like this:

It looks like it needs more options to oil Alcibiades up. Oops.

And he'd like to see them kiss I think (???)

Anyway. He suggested that I expand this game to include other dialogues, more Alcibiades cutscenes/options, etc. Put it on Steam. He also said he could help me find artists on campus willing to help with the project and make it into a real video game. This leads me to a question, since it's had a little over 20 downloads.

Would you enjoy/support more 'Socrates Dating Sim'?
