After working on this project for over 2 months almost every day, I finally dropped the first song from the project via Complex/Converse. prod. by Benamin. Album drops 3/8/2012
This shit sounds like thug motivation for niggas w/ glasses!
Don't sleep on our new video for the song "Abundance" off Endless Summer. The video was filmed and edited in Japan courtesy Ces2 of Hi-Fi Media. Homie came through in a major way for us on this..much respect.
@cavwins blessed us with the perfect verse for this track and @soupagreenst & @alivegreenst are in their element per usual. The beat produced by yours truly, with a little help from ya boy @kenrossmusic..I bet y'all are wondering how I got in the video, though, since I wasn't able to make it to Japan with the gang...$ecret$ ^_^
oh word?
@DJJesterNYC got a tumblr now! http://djjesternyc.tumblr.com/
follow the homie!
Well, damn...Check this sneak peek of our newest video "Abundance" off our project Endless Summer. This joint was filmed in Asakusa, Tokyo by the homie Ces2 from Hi-Fi Media. From the beats to the videos--Ces is super talented, and we were blessed to be able to work with him. Video is looking icy if I may say so myself. Stay tuned for the full video, as well as a Green Street x Cavalier collabo over a Ces2 beat coming soon..
Me & @alivegreenst linked up with The Black Sunn & 810 to bring you this new joint. The B-more homies are about to go on tour with Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam and A-live’s leaving for a tour in India tomorrow, so we’re hoping this one will set the tone for the tours…and not to mention another crazy year.
Check it out on 2dopeboyz here.
Check out the 2nd video off our latest project Endless Summer, "Daydreams" featuring Donwill of Tanya Morgan. This joint was shot and directed by Pacool, MTV Europe's 2010 Director of the Year. I produced the beat with the help of the big homie Ken Ross. Personally, I think it's our best video yet. What y'all think?
Easily one of my favorite albums. Of all time.
Talib rhyming acapella at #occupywallst. Fux wit it.
It's here. It was an inspirational summer for us and we just wanted to share it with y'all. I got some positive feedback on some of the latin funk samples I used on the last album, so decided to use a bunch of them on this project. We hope you enjoy the vibes!
Huge shouts to the features: Sunny Jones, Ken Ross, Cavalier, Fresh Daily, Donwill, TreZure Empire, and Chris Faust. Y'all helped bring this album to life.

askmeaboutmymusic:
This is a track from a duo I just learned of. This joint is ill and they’re sick at flows. You should definitely give this a try. Album drops 9/28 “Endless Summer.”

Here's the first single off our new project, Endless Summer, which is set to drop September 28th via DJBooth.net. Stellar verses from Soup and A per usual, but this time we got hook MONSTER Sunny Jones on the chorus.
Ken Ross and I cheffed up something lovely for this beat. I think you can really hear us trying to forge a new sound. It's got similar elements and format to some of our older stuff, but the aesthetic is definitely something new.
What do y'all think? Props if you can name the sample.
Check out this dope interview A & Soup's did with The Collab Projekt. Shouts to Guillermo for holding us down!

Through blogging, I’ve been able to discover a couple of artists with amazing talent - artists that work hard to develop their craft and get it out to the people who want to hear good music. A couple of months ago, when I first started getting serious about the blogging thing and making it more than just a hobby, I came up on this group creating a jazz-infused hip-hop sound that is unmatched by many, with lyrics that promote nothing but hard work, dream chasing, and good vibes. Green Street, a group that started out in Boston, but then relocated to Brooklyn, first came on the scene over five years ago. A couple releases, tour stops, and long flights overseas later, these guys are still in the game - still growing and perfecting their craft. With the release of their latest project, ‘Endless Summer’, coming soon, I got an opportunity to sit down with them last month while they were in town and talk a bit about their team, the progression of their craft, their travels and much more. Down below you’ve got a single off of their ‘Endless Summer’ project, which drops on September 28th, as well as their latest visuals for What’s Cookin’ 2.0; one of my favorite tracks from the talented collective.

You’ve probably got the Facebook tab open. If so, head over to Green Street’s Page & give them a quick ‘Like’. Stay updated with them socially, as the best is yet to come for these guys. And look out for ‘Endless Summer’, dropping later this month!
