Hello, I’m Rev, and I’ve had GW2 brainworms for nearly a decade that went into overdrive roughly a year ago, so this is where I dump what they want me to.
My roster’s centered around a Blood Legion-originated warband called Havoc, braindump about them and their history under the cut.

My characters are mostly charr and sylvari, and i'm trying to centralize their stories around a Blood warband, the leader of it becoming roughly 80% the canonical Commander, and they sort of adopt stray people during various stages of the story. My mains so far through the game have been my ranger and my warrior, and the rest of my roster is being.. gratuitously restructured at the moment
The original members of the Havoc warband (unsure if i'm gonna count the canonical Charr Player Character's warband members too) are Vikaros (ranger and warband leader, sneaky/cunning type who Gets Shit Done, sometimes with words, sometimes a well-placed arrow), Tavryn (guardian, Conscience of the Warband, No Come On Vik They Can Clearly Be Reasoned With Using Words Alone), (engineer of some sort, bit too hotheaded for Iron, more soft-hearted than the rest of the 'band though and taking on a more caring role as a consequence) and (an elementalist! not sure of their role/reputation yet, but i want to try the class out again). During the original personal story, Vikaros also recruits an Ash gladium and mesmer Yurmia (old, sassy, aggressive, intimidating, Can And Will Clash with Tavryn because mesmer powers exist to be abused to her advantage and Yurmia does not really care for this thing Tavryn calls morals. deep down she really does care though and is glad for this second chance at being a part of a warband. what happened to her first? Unsure).
Meanwhile, on the sylvari side of things, Scoithin (warrior, currently a berserker and very much HC'ing him with the ready-to-fight-you-for-anything personality to go along with it) and Renfrac (thief, solitary, the classic loner type) do their separate things initially, but both still end up encountering each other at Weird Times and forming a friendship over the years. Scoithin eventually joins the Vigil and is with the Pact Fleet when HoT happens. Renfrac hears about the whole crash thing and travels over as fast as he can. Scoithin has issues tuning out Mordremoth while Renfrac doesn't have as much trouble with it, so he builds them a little camp for a few days while Scoithin recovers from some nasty burns, and eventually someone from Havoc finds them. With the situation with sylvari being as it is, Renfrac makes sure to get out of sight but still nearby enough to spy on everything as Scoithin is taken in to be 'supervised' by Havoc.
As Scotty (Yurmia stumbled over his name the first time he introduced himself and now will not stand to be corrected, so the rest of the 'band is going along with it) develops a resistance to the voice in his head, his regular Vigil-ish fighting spirit pops back up, and he integrates with the warband so well (both in and out of combat) that at the end of HoT they've all but adopted him, and at the end of that expac (have not yet decided what fate to give Trahearne in my canon, because on one hand, tremendous angst, but on the other, trahearne) Scott gets a charr last name to really formalize his integration into the 'band. Renfrac becomes an associate of the warband, visiting and helping out with missions here and there but still more a lone agent than a gear in the machine of the ‘band, even though he does grow to appreciate the feeling of camaraderie when he hangs out with them.
I’m also HC’ing that Scoithin tries to grow charr-like ears and horns after this because he gets a little overly enthusiastic, but those are significantly harder to balance on a non-charr bodyplan, and also then he can’t fit his helmet (which at least already has one pair of horns) anymore. He has to ask his Dear Friend Ren to help remove them because as close as he’s grown to the charr, this is kind of awkward to ask of a non-sylvari. Altogether it was a mildly embarassing experience that Renfrac will poke fun at any chance he gets by sticking his hands behind his head and fanning out his fingers just so-
I haven't thought much further than that, except that Vikaros finds the Dreamer sometime during PoF/the surrounding LW seasons, and I want to figure out some reactions when they meet the Olmakhan. Not every roster has to be one big cohesive found family but I really like the idea of mine being one so that is what i will be doing with it. Also, i do like it when the Pact commander gets some permanent injuries from all their misadventures, so Vik’s got one of those half-goggles because he can’t see out of his left eye anymore, and I want to figure out more injuries as I replay some story missions because there’s no way he’s gotten through everything so far unscathed except for the eye thing. in the same vein, Yurmia could be hiding anything, with the combination of Unknown Past and Mesmer Magic... Also, Vik as a ranger is definitely very attached to his pets and absolutely has some favourites
I still need to get most of them (everyone except Vikaros and Scoithin) proper gear, builds, levels, in some cases the character slots themselves, but I will be posting what I do already have as soon as uni lets up a little bit. Also, to really complete my roster class-wise, I would like a necro and a revenant, but unsure where they'd fit in as of yet, probably more sylvari to balance it back out a little and there really is just something Interesting about the concept of sylvari necros
