drante character ranking SPOILERS‼️(ft my messy and unorganized thoughts) (these might change if i watch/play the ftes idk)

all drante characters are interesting and i could write whole ass character analyses about each of them but this is just my general thoughts and rankings of them based on how much i personally like them/their character

drante is a great game for bisexuals midnight motorway has blessed my bisexuality with vampire ismene and werewolf zeke wait i dont think this is related to the rankings-

Taka Takahiro (funny, awesome character development and bonus points cuz hes trans woahahaha man i wish he lived it would be so cool if he like grew to accept the acid scars and not care about what the industry would think)

Takiko Uchiyama (she brings out the inner feminist in me thats all i must say)

Zeke Elias (not much i wanna say i just really like characters like him)

Alora Alenius (does a lot in the game while also being super cool and pretty and uhhh also having interesting character depth/flaws)

Dracul Tremblay (same as zekes i just really like characters like him like bisexual himbos with escapism or something)

Shinku Kutsuki (well written character with relatable flaws but i dont find him the most interesting also i sometimes make fun of him cuz i kin him)

Maiko/Molly Yuzuki (honestly i found her kind of annoying at first but i grew to like her a lot i wish she lived so she had more time to change and become a better person😭)

Asuga Saintil (i didnt really like them that much before chapter 3 when she starting growing on me with more interesting developments in their character started to show such as hypocrisy ahahaha)

Ismene Circe (i actually really like ismene its just i have to put her this low cuz i like other characters better😭tbh i feel like ismene hasnt had enough time to shine yet and i really like her so hopefully she gets more of the spotlight in future chapters! oh god if shes the chpt3 blackened i will be ajsjwjsjnd but i doubt that honestly i feel like she could be a survivor???) 

Mint Bryne (i dont hate him at all i really like some of his moments and dynamic with zeke its just dont really have any strong opinions about him prob cuz i havent watched his ftes which go more into his character)

Lyra Shatel (she has some moments that i really like mainly with other characters but overall her own character on by itself hasnt really grown on me and probably wont be able to now💔rip lyra

Fu Wang (hes alright but my least favorite ngl probably because hes a middle aged man and not a cute anime girl/boy/demigirl also his ass is not the mastermind there’s still 7 prisoners after the reveal i reckon he has some kind of deal with the people behind the killing game + theres some parts/mysteries about his character that are intriguing though!)

not gonna rank her since shes not technically part of the main cast but i REALLY like emilia her ftes(?) with shinku are really fun as well as seeing her interact with the prisoners (especially asuga emilsuga is peak) and i cant wait to see more of her :DDD

the tapes in drante (danganronpa antebellum lockdown) and the elevator sequences in rgu (revolutionary girl utena) remind me a lot of each other

we got the unsettling and eerie music- the character being led by a voice in this sort of confessional booth that makes them go deeper and deeper into their raw internal conflicts and pain...

a drante as rgu au would be really interesting because so many of the characters in drante want to change or "fix" the world to their liking to fit their own fantasies and ideals (*cough cough* molly- *cough cough* asuga-) which is a central theme in rgu

(kind of unrelated but trust i will make asuga and takiko as utenathy fanart later)
