I think I might get tennisTV for one month and re-watch the entire Sinner-Sweep while Jannik is not playing ...

After sleeping (very badly) a night on it I still feel very sad, but it was bound to happen that he has a bad day. We know he has these days where he does not feel well - and usually he gets through it somehow but it is just human that sometimes he doesn't. He really looked completely out of it in the last sets. It is so tough that it had to happen in such a heartbreaking way, so close to victory - that is the hard part to accept.

He is still having an amazing season though, he can rest up and recover now, and he will go again at Wimbledon with a new hunger. He can come back stronger! There is still 2 slams to come this year, and the pressure now will be way lower as well for both of them.

Although I am not sure how I am supposed to survive without Sinnerball a full month ...

I am genuinely heartbroken right now. I was so sure he makes it when he was up in the 3rd set. It looked so good.

This was all he wanted for this season and it was taken away in such a cruel way ...

I hope he can regroup just as well as last year and win Wimbledon ...

Take your time to recover now, and come back stronger. Prayer circle that Wimbledon won't be so hot ...

I'm so fucking proud of him but I am so fucking disturbed by everything I have heard and read today. You got your non-sincaraz slam, you got your 'exciting' tennis, and he walked off in literal fucking tears because this is the one thing he wanted so bad and now it's happened again and it's fucking nightmarish. He couldn't fucking walk but he played it through because he's so fucking resilient and because you will romanticise this and call him weak. Fuck off. Congratulations to whoever wins I guess I don't really think I give a fuck anymore.
