could you do Isagi with a fem!reader that has gotten a high fever but didn't tell him?
for hunger? food. for a cold? medicine. for me? you.
❝ normally i'm not like this ❞
➜ catching a high fever but not telling him
The moment Isagi leaves his place for training, he could already downright feel like something isn't right. Even when while he was packing up his stuff and items to bring along with him, he immediately felt like he shouldn't be doing it, although he brushed it off as merely forgetting something to add inside, he made sure that he has everything along with him. Double and triple checking everything.
The said feeling didn't leave him alone even when he's arrived at his destination. Normally he'd feel pumped up because he's going to do what he's best until nighttime but because the odd feeling wouldn't leave him alone, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he walks towards the glass doors of the training facility, trying to think through what this feeling could be telling him. And it lead to a mental image of you.
Passing by the lobby and turning left towards the locker room, he fishes his phone out of his pocket, dialing your number and pressing his phone between his ear and shoulder.
"Yo chan?" He hears your voice after three rings.
"Hey" He responded in a soft tone, pushing the doors of the locker room open, heading towards his locker. "I'm thinking of you right now."
"I'm okay" You reply, gulping down that one cough caught up in your throat; itching to be relieved. "Focus on your training, okay?"
"I know." He softly hums, he was about to ask if he could meet you tonight when all of a sudden he heard a thunderous sound like of a cough on your signal followed by sounds of deep breathing.
"Are you okay?" Isagi asks, immediately realizing that the feeling that was holding him back earlier is the feeling to check up on you. "Why didn't you tell me you were sick?"
"But I don't want to bother you." You reply, steadying your breathing after seeming coughing your lungs out.
Isagi sighs, stopping from his tracks before turning his head both left and right, trying to see if he could get out of the glass doors without so much as others catching him.
"How long have you been sick?"
"Just last night." You responded, sniffing. "At first it was just a runny nose but when I woke up this morning I've already gotten up with a headache and the urges to cough. My throat's itchy and I just...feel so tired."
"I'm ditching training." He replies with finality in his voice. "I'll go over to your place." And with that, he hangs up, jogging out of the building and heading towards the nearest pharmacy.
To say that Isagi doesn't feel disappointed on himself would be an understatement. Why hadn't he checked up on you before leaving his place? He should have done that before he was packing his belongings.
He wants to help you so badly after hearing your condition, wanted your sickness to go away so you'd be healed again. And upon arriving inside the pharmaceutical store, a small basket in hand, he begins to take everything he thinks he might heal you. From cooling patches to lozenges to paracetamol.
Paying for all the items and stuffing the little brown bag inside his bag, he takes a turn towards the convenient store to pick up tea drinks and extra snacks. As he does, he finally makes his way to you.
"You shouldn't have just dipped out training." You tell him with a cooling patch on your forehead, watching his fleeting figure as he goes around your room, taking out the trash that's filled with crumpled tissue papers.
"But to hear you coughing over the phone? I think I made the right choice." He replies back, setting back the trash can now empty.
"You're comfortable, right?" He asks, turning his head to face you, not missing that nod of your head in response.
"Do you want tea? Are you hungry? Should I make you food now? Is your body hurting too? Should I give you a massage?" He asks almost everything at once.
He's eternally worried about you. Willing to be your servant until he's nursed you back to health, willing to nurture you until he could see you smile again.
"I" You begin to say, thinking over his questions. "I want to try the tea and snacks you got me." You tell him.
Immediately painting a smile on his lips, Isagi nods his head with a hum.
"Hey, I saw your hamper of dirty clothes. I can do your laundry for you too."
"No way. You might see something you're not supposed to!"
And as happy as Isagi is to do chores for you, unbeknownst to him, one hundred laps of jogging and fifty counts of push ups and lunging jump awaits for him once he returns back to the training facility.
