I must say, Vernon has such a cool design! The Narg armour with the scarf is an edgy, yet badass look. I have to stan 😤✊
Hehe thanks! I draw this character a lot on @dragonkingteo and he’s actually supposed to wear Silverwind Nargacuga armor (which is even more badass imo), from MH Generations. But I got curious whether I could recreate something as similar as possible to that in World; so here he is. XP
Finally got all the equipment I wanted for Vernon in MHW: his Narga armor (not layered), the Sealed Dragon Cloth (big scarf! but it required him to get MR 70 for some Guiding Lands materials, hhh), and a Narga layered weapon (here Alatreon Longsword).
I got him to MR 75+ in about one week and a half, so I’m kinda proud of that ‘speedrun’ that was fully done in Guardian then Nargacuga armor. Enjoy the screenshots of in-game Vern!
Also edgy Guild Card is edgy.

I found Vernon’s scarf in Iceborne (Sealed Dragon Cloth layered armor)
And it’s not just the overall shape; even the holes and rips at the ends of it are the same :0
Not to mention the added physics match the way I draw it!
So sad I can’t use it on an actual Vernon account; since there’s no Silverwind armor in that game...
A guide to prepare for your first fight(s) against Alatreon in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. This was made for beginners/people who still struggle with the monster, and in particular with the element dps check. These recommandations may not apply to veterans!

My personal best run against Alatreon in Monster Hunter World Iceborne so far! Using a Alatreon/Safi armor mix set, and the ice Kjarr Charge-blade.
Guild Card #5 ! The pose and background didn’t change but the armor and title are new.
New haircut for Maya and Safi/Alatreon armor mix I like! And extremely powerful against Alatreon itself.

I’ve been doing a lot of solo runs of the MR 200 quest of Iceborne, Master Hunter of the New World, and recorded the ones I liked the most. I was very surprised by the end of this one.

Took this screenshot a while back so I can’t exactly remember the context, other than I was attempting to solo AT Nergigante and it loooks like a “so this is how I die” dive-bomb moment.
Was soloing some Tempered Lunas for the bounty, ended up with a nice-looking killing screen.

About Nergigante.
A few personal theories about Nergigante's ecology.
(Note that I haven't studied MHW's lore very seriously, so there may be mistakes. Nor have I done research to know if other people had already advanced the same theories before, so please pardon me in advance for that.)
I've witnessed a few people complaining about the "bad design" of this Monster, more specifically its diet: Nergigante supposedly eats other Elder Dragon, which may sound like an easy/lazy way to say "Nergigante is stronger than the other Dragons", but I would like to give an objection to this.
As far as we know, Nergigante is only present in the New World, that is to say the place where Elder Dragons travel to in order to die. That alone is enough to support my theory: if the Dragons that do the Elder Crossing are those who are soon to die, they must be (most of them at least) in a weaker state of health than when they were, for instance, younger.
And that means, Nergigante mainly feeds on "weak" Dragons, a bit like real-life big predators (wolves for example) that prefer to hunt down old or sick preys.
All in all, I just wanted to say that Nergigante isn't necessarily stronger than the other Elder Dragons. I see it more as an opportunist that feeds on whatever is weak enough to be killed. Can be a sick or injured Dragon if it’s unlucky enough to cross its path. And even then, slaying an old, dying Dragon isn't always an easy task, even for a supposed Elder Dragon-eater.
