Hi everyone just wanted to let you guys know if you’re a atla fan and you wonder a lot about Azulon or you want to know a bit more about him and you read fanfics and you have wattpad you should go read Bothers of fire by Viskosse. There is only one chapter so far but it is written really well.

The what if Azulon didn’t mean that Zuko had to be killed?

Hi everyone! This is going to be my first post. So I’ve been thinking. What if Azulon didn’t mean Ozai had to kill Zuko? Like that would be dumb to do because one grandson is already dead, who was in line for the throne. And Azulon is like 95 years old. He has to be smart right? Like you can see Ozai doesn’t give a shit about Zuko. So why tell to kill him the child he doesn’t like? And Azulon can’t put all his eggs in Azula basket because she was too much like Ozai. So the best would have been to take the child Ozai didn’t care and make him watch the child become next in line for the throne after Iroh.

I’m sure that would have made him pissed. And if you look at Zuko and Azulon when he was about Zuko age you would see they look very much alike. Like come on Azulon has to have a soft spot for Zuko sort of. And I’m sure if he got to know Zuko a bit he might even love him a tiny bit or well maybe tolerate him because he would see Zuko isn’t really like Ozai much.

So what was old man Azulon thinking. Or might it be that Azula misunderstood him. Thinking Azulon meant that he wanted Ozai to kill Zuko. And when Ursa went to confront Ozai about it he saw that as his way of getting rid of Azulon. Because a mother would do anything for her children. Even murder. So Ozai said yes to her when she asked if Azulon wanted him to kill Zuko.
