You don’t even have to ask

The moment your mission is over and he can concentrate on everything else again, his attention is all yours

He gets on his knees in front of you and simply gestures for you to climb onto his back

It doesn’t matter if he’s exhausted or not, he has more than enough stamina and strength left to carry you back to the village

Arguing about it is fruitless — he does NOT listen

Gaara

It is completely out of question, you may save your breath before asking

The moment he realises that you’re injured, he squints his eyes at you

Not out of disdain but rather because he knows that you like to downplay your injuries and he’s not up for any kind of discussion

His sand platform is spacious enough to carry the both of you comfortably and he won’t let go of you either

It doesn’t matter how depleted his chakra resources are, he will bring you back safely

If he’s a little more obvious about certain matters afterwards, please don’t mention it

Rock Lee

There’s two hearts beating in his chest about that one

Does he enjoy that you’re injured? No. Does he see carrying you all the way back to the village as more training? Yes.

He will challenge his teammates to a race and promises you in the same breath, that he will win this one

Totally not to impress you or anything .. Not him, never ..

Exhaustion fears him and injuries apologize to HIM before he ever goes out

So trust in him to bring you back safely AND keep you well entertained all the while

(Remember that one scene in Shippuden when Guy carried Kakashi? I’ll leave the rest up to your imagination lmao)

He has warm hands, extraordinarily warm hands even

And what if he doesn’t have cold hands? He will still seek you out to hold his

And if you got cold hands? Even better. He relishes in the fact that he gets to hold your hand AND warm you up

But should there ever be a moment where he does have cold hands, he will exaggerate the WHOLE thing

Oh no! Whatever will he do if you don’t take his deeply frozen hands into yours?

Naruto just about bursts with excitement to be in this position

Kurama will tease him for it and won’t ever let him forget

Gaara

10/10 cold hands, absolutely stone cold

Everytime he has to hand something over to someone or has to shake someone’s hand, they always notice his freezing hands first

Both Temari AND Kankuro get “spooked” by it and keep wondering how that’s even possible, considering the climate in Sunagakure

So, does he seek you out from time to time? You bet. Though, don’t be fooled, he will always sell it off as something else

Of course he didn’t just come to see you to feel your warmth …. That wouldn’t do now, would it? ….

The way he holds onto your hand and caresses it, speaks way louder than he and his words ever could

You make him feel comfortable and give him a sense of safety and he makes sure you get to feel his appreciation

And if you also have cold hands, he would still hold yours

With both of your warmth combined (minus and minus equals plus after all), the two of you will get to cosy up just fine :)

Rock Lee

Oh. He would make it a sport alright

First of all, that man NEVER runs cold, he outruns that

Secondly, he would personally feel offended in your stead

He’s the type to gently rub your hands between his palms, using the friction to warm you up for good

You once joked about him trying to set you on fire because he did it so passionately and he apologised like crazy afterwards

He’s toned it down a notch but he still sees it as his personal mission to keep you from turning into an ice block

Of course that’s what he thinks, it’s never that bad

If he ever got caught having cold hands, he’d say something along the lines of, “That just means I haven’t unlocked the full potential of the burning youuuthhhh”

Don’t let this silly guy fool you though

He does very much call your warmth part of the potential of youth :)
