i have such a love/hate relationship with how the homestuck fandom existed in 2012. it really was a fucking Experience.

things are so quiet now. some of you guys have NO IDEA what shit went down. the askblogs. the lyricstucks. upd8s. mspaprophet. senorpacman, kylee henke, octopimp, broadway karkat, ikimaru, zamii070, shubbabang, paperseverywhere, miraculoustang. sadstuck. unsealed paint. strider hair angles are sideburns debate. fandomstuck. sharpie bath. promstuck. the dave/bro Normal Family Dynamic. msparp, cherubplay, trollmegle. terezi cosplayers licking things they should never lick. karkat cosplayers getting metal buckets thrown at them. the dad/bro ship. "wweh". hiatustuck. pantskat. David Elizabeth Strider. 4chords. using google goggles on the new update pages. march eridan. petstuck. in-character cosplay panels. newgrounds crash. the infamous bucket video. sugoi quest for kokoro. aquariumstuck. two $10k OCs. spin the faygo. like it was just such a uniquely enormous fandom and that allowed the worst and best possible things to happen. most of the popular homestucks have deactivated or just don't post anymore. some fanworks are just lost to the sands of time. it will never be as big as it was. all we have is nostalgia.
