hail !! i’m artemis (with additional monikers such nemesis / tachy — the latter if you know me from roblox) , and as of writing this i am 20 solar returns (years). i am queer , trans , and probably possess at least 5 disorders /lhhj. i am full-time employed and am chronically ill / in pain (not that it matters too much!). i am also engaged to the loveliest boy.

i am norse pagan + a witch (sea + sea baneful), otherkin / therian, and also fictkin with sources primarily from fnaf. i’ve been a witch for a few years presently but the heathenry is a new step for me.

madly interested in astronomy, gemology, astrology, ufology, aliens / space themes, art / writing / oc creation, as well as star wars, steven universe, pokemon, roblox games (and a wild variety of them at that), minecraft, cod zombies (not all of the lore that shit is crazy hard to keep up with), metal (music genre), and all kinds of things that aren’t coming to me at the moment ! as the blog name might suggest , i am severely into the retrofuturism genre.

can we PLEASE discuss the absolute epidemic that is ai on etsy right now ?? from images, to descriptions, to even responses to reviews . what in the WORLD is going on and why is this allowed like. at all. for some obvious examples, see below —

now , i might be crazy, but shit like this should be against etsy’s tos. ESPECIALLY the generated images of the products you … should be able to take pictures of and post versus using ai ? it doesn’t make any sense at all, and it’s one of many things that would have me shying away from a business.

it’s especially discouraging to see witches or any kind of spiritual practitioner using ai since .. it literally goes against our moral code of loving and protecting the earth. but what do i know lol.

i’ll gladly make a spreadsheet for etsy users that use ai if it’s wanted. just let me know !

My least favorite new politically correct term is "unhoused." Like you can just tell it was created to make liberals feel less icky when talking about homeless people.

I was homeless. I was homeless as a child and as an adult. That shit sucks believe it or not.

The uncertainty. The ever-present grimy feeling from lack of access to running water. Having nothing to your name. The shame you feel is asking your fellow man for the bare minimum. Just so much shame, man.

"Unhoused" is so clinical. A technical term. Sure, its not incorrect, but it doesn't properly convey the emotional and psychological impact homelessness has on you.

You say "house", I think of a structure.

You say "home", I think of stability.

The community literally built on Love and Acceptance decided to leave behind all those morals in just one day, the moment something big happens, and that's just saddening. Grow up and be the bigger person; instead of sending death threats, learn respect for once, because clearly I was wrong to think this community had some.
