#Schrödinger's Boys au: Bill destroys a few timelines, one of which contains a young Ford and Lee still enjoying their childhood in Glass Shard Beach. By some freak incident, the universe erases their existence and they are lost to the vast unknown multiverse.

#Fish Don't Fly AU: Stanley and Stanford have a huge argument a week before the science fair which leads to Stanford being accepted to West Coast Tech and Stanley going all in on learning everything about boating and fishing.

#Psychic Artist AU: Caryn Romanoff Pines is a psychic and such ability was passed down to only one of her children: Stanley. He is a much more powerful psychic than she could ever be and most of the time its just small things, something he draws that he doesn't recognize or a gut feeling, perhaps even his muscles reacting before he can recognize danger. However, sometimes it takes over during the night and he wakes up among dozens of drawings telling a story about something big.

#Oedipus Lied: (Trials of the Sphinx renamed) A twist on the classic Monster Falls au. Stanford needs an ingredient for some project. Bill tells him where to find it, some random cliff cave. Stanford finds the cave and with it a mysterious wall of ancient script. Little did he know that touching it would open a gate and close all the doors. Stanford must undergo the three trials of the Sphinxes and if that isn't the worst of it, his brother has taken the punishment for his mistake. He has been turned into the "guardian of the gate": A Gargoyle.

#Supernova AU: My timestuck au! Weirdmageddon goes so terribly wrong. Bill is not fooled by Stan and Ford's swap and both Stanley and Dipper pay the price. Ford gets turned into one of Bill's Henchmaniacs and is no longer human and Mabel blames it all on herself. Using the Axolotl's power, she is granted a time wish and uses it to go back to where Bill's influence started so she can stop it- only it goes way further back than she realized and she has somehow become a twin x2!

SEC. 2(a)(1)(B): Requiring age verification to even use an operating system creates a mandatory "hardware lockout" that ends anonymous computing and forces users to hand over sensitive identification data to major corporations just to power on their devices.

SEC. 2(a)(3): Mandating that OS providers create a system for all app developers to access verification data is a massive security vulnerability. This effectively creates a centralized API of user identities accessible to thousands of third-party developers, many of whom may lack adequate data protection.

This bill does not protect children; it creates a centralized surveillance infrastructure at the OS level. I urge you to protect the privacy of your constituents and vote NO on H.R. 8250.

This is a hell that us down under in Australia are already living in, and it’s not even effective at what it claims to do in protecting children.

Given that, in the wake of this mandatory identification policy, my country seems to be moving to hand over its citizens biometric data, like fingerprints, Face ID files, and identification documents, over to the USA and to ICE to maintain the visa free travel (ESTA) we have, I strongly urge any US resident to send these emails, or make calls.

But if you can’t do that, the most powerful thing you can do is spread the word. Tell your friends, family, coworkers, anyone who can help.

My reach will likely be small, and so I don’t know if this will mean very much in the grand scheme of things, but I cannot stand to see this tracking happen to another population as it did to mine.

And if you think it won’t affect you, it will. All anonymity goes out the window when your accounts can be linked via your personal ID

I wish you all luck in preventing this act from going through.

At Stanley's lowest moment, he gives in and calls for help. He asks for help from a source no sane person would turn to. Well, as they say, desperate men do desperate things.

  What If Stanley made a demon pact of his own before Ford called for him? Did I go ahead and write a fic for my own horrible idea count? Yeeeaaaaahhhh... I did....

Also, I have another two one shots for it I need to finish and post. I wrote them in rapid succession but still don’t trust myself to go for a longer fic for it.

Horrible Idea: Count 2

Watchdog Ford combined with Henchmaniac Ford. Don’t know if it's been done, but here we go with another horrible idea.

So I read some watchdog Ford (MisterTiberius, wherever their blog is I can't figure out how to tag them), and I wrote/read some Henchmaniac Ford (Cough @coniferouspines Cough can't help but mention their Henchmaniac Ford, the manic energy is absolutely insane and I drew on the mania a bit but this is based more on an unwilling Henchmaniac Ford. Henchmaniac under threat if you will).

So, I was thinking...

Watchdog + Henchmaniac = Axolotl's Acolyte Ford

Don't get it? I know, my thinking is erratic! I'll explain:

Ford is Bill’s closest confidant and friend. While he was human they had their problems but since becoming a henchmaniac he has been able to see far more clearly. Anyway, Bill likes to complain and he complains about Frilly all the time. Ford really didn’t know who was talking about but it has something to do with their interdimensional takeover, so he listens.

While Bill is idly talking Ford's ear off, Bill mentions The Axolotl and the second chance that he will NEVER need because he and Ford are absolutely unstoppable. Ford agrees, but as always, he stashes the information away in case it's useful.

Well, everything goes so well for them until they open the portal to the abyssal dimension. Stanford did not have the time to properly name it before their forces had been obliterated. If they were considered demons, then what would they call those abominations? No one was spared. Any dimension that was connected to the portal was invaded and destroyed, consumed by the abyss. Stanford and Bill had been pushed back to the final stronghold, the home dimension.

It was hardly a fight. Whatever their abilities were, it absorbed any power the two threw at them and grew stronger. Stanford had fought hard, fighting to protect his family until it was made known that they were gone. Taken while he was fighting.

Stanford lost all will after that. What was the point of fighting when his family was gone? All he had wanted was to give them everything they could ever want, and now... they were gone.

However, being consumed by these creatures, stripped layer by layer down to his soul- whatever was left of it anyway, Stanford recalled what his friend had said. Stanford needed that second chance more than Bill, but would they answer him?

He calls anyway.

And his call is answered.

He floats among the stars, puffs of gas and particles that almost look like clouds float around him. There can only be one answer. The Axolotl answered his wish for another chance.

The name had suggested it, but being faced with a massive Axolotl was more intimidating than he had imagined, more so when he remembered that it was a more powerful being than even Bill.

It almost seemed happy when he asked for a second chance, but it had a catch. It could not (or would not) restore his world, but would grant him atonement in a new way, but only if Ford agrees to serve it instead. Desperate for a second chance, a chance to see his family again. Ford agrees.

He is cured of the mania that came with being a henchmaniac. For the first time in a while, he is free of the obsession of his desires and the twisted thinking that came with his change. He becomes overwhelmed with guilt in his clear mind, he had made so many people suffer, including the ones he had wanted to protect the most...

And yet... the Axolotl gives him the task of saving his brother. Or rather himself and his brother throughout different dimensions. To change outcomes for the better...

Why?

The Axolotl did not really answer him, but it was something about liking twins. Weird, but it was giving him the chance of saving Stanley.

He takes it.

None of the Stanleys can never truly be his. He ruined his chance, he is not human, he can never be human again, but he now feels far more peace in his new purpose. He feels far more at peace with the axolotl who granted him atonement for his grievous wrongdoings.

He can find existence bearable despite the crushing weight of his past. As long as he can save other timelines from the same suffering.

Consider this a Henchmaniac good ending because nothing good can come from Henchmaniac Ford plotlines! They have already lost, folks! Anyway, this took me a week to post because I was nervous about tagging someone...

He’ll never get his family back but at least he’ll get to interact with other versions of them. Some sort of consolation. I like the idea that he maybe didn’t even realize how manic he’d become as a henchmaniac until it was stripped away and he looks back and sees how twisted he’d grown.

Exactly! I imagine the descent into the manic mindset and twisted thinking had been one that Ford had overlooked and not cared about. I mean, he has his family to protect, right? He has to make sure they are safe and cared for and it grew more and more into obsession.

There is too much going on for him to really pay attention. It's not like Bill helps that whole situation. He isn't really sure why he was so mad at Bill before... Oh well, right?

Then his mind gets cleared and it's all so sudden. He thought he was thinking clearly before but suddenly he was actually thinking clearly and realized just how twisted everything had become. The shock one would experience....

Also, that tag is perfect. He should get some therapy with his new job. I am going to imagine he and Axy hang out. Ford was going to hop into Theraprism and talk with one of their therapists but Axy seems to enjoy his company so he just hangs out with them for therapy time.

Goodness, I may have to write something for this too...

Chapter 2: Invoke My Name is out!

Mabel is alone. Or is she? Is someone watching from far away?

If she didn't do something now, she would run right into Pyronica and be taken back to the fearamid. Who knew what would happen then.

She had to find a way!

Mabel tumbled in the snow, the pyrotes rushing past her and scrambling to turn around as she hauled herself up and took off into the forest with the angry shouting of the flaming demon behind her.

CROAK

Her lungs felt like ice, fragile and crackling with each breath, threatening to shatter. Her heart fluttered, exhausted, aching for a break. Wings fluttering cut through the whistling of the wind alerted her that Ford was watching, he was aware of where she was now.

Frozen trails followed familiar paths down her face, carved by a thousands of tears before.

All her hope, all her prayers, everything she was desperate to regain rode on her ability to escape now.

The trees have eyes. They are looking at her now. She can feel it in the crawling of her skin.

She burst through the trees, monstrous and wild in her own right. A creature driven to the edge and fighting to survive. Fighting to be free. Snapping at her heels, she kicked and weaved and yet…

When she hit the end, she found she was nothing more than a deer. No fangs to defend herself with, no claws to lash out at her enemies, no more room to run. Prey corralled and cornered on a ledge. Hunted by air and land.

Chapter 3: Both Familiar and Unfamiliar

Summary:

The uncomfortable clawing in the back of her mind told her she was forgetting something. Big deal, her brain was scrambled from her close friendship with the sidewalk. Her brothers assure her that everything will come back as she heals.

It doesn't stop her from feeling like she is living someone else's life.

Mabel jolted into awareness of a desperate voice. Her heart was hammering, demanding more air than her lungs could take in. Everything was hazy, too quick, her mind too fearful to comprehend what was going on. For a moment, she swore she saw dark stone walls— where was her window?— Strong hands held her in place— who was touching her?— Someone was talking— Who was laughing?

Every sensation fed into the next to create an increasing loop of fear. Until she heard a heartbeat, it was beating just as fast as her own. The voice from before vibrated through her ears, and she recognized who was talking. Blinking rapidly, she realized she was… home… and the one holding her? She tilted her head up to find it was Stanley. Her vision focused in on him, like an anchor in a raging sea.

"It's just a dream," he repeated, and she wondered how many times he had told her that before she heard him. It was just a dream. She slowed down enough to see those old peeling walls of her room. It wasn't cold solid stone. Her window was dark. What time was it? She listened to the rhythmic thump of her brother's heart, something to use to time her breathing.

Mabel's eyes watered as she looked around some more. Where was Dipper? "Where…?" she murmured before Stanley sighed.

"Remember the sea turtles?"
