Been recently inspired, so I decided to draw a sketch of @reveurb0i’s Casper design. I know it isn’t colored and most likely doesn’t do it any justice, but I wanted to show my appreciation. I've come back to drawing Casper in this particular scene 3 times now, and everytime I feel like I get to capture more and more of the scene. Seeing your childhood crush again back in your old school, getting to do the dance you missed out on. The nerves of bottled up feelings finally coming out, the butterflies of getting to make up for lost time, and the nervousness of what the future looks like for both of you now.

Neither of them know where things are gonna go, what life looks like after all those years apart. All they know is the here and now, and the love they both share in the moment ♡♡

Both of my older renditions of the same scene, bc I love this specific lost & found episode the most. Holds such a special place in my heart GAHHH I love these goobers so much 😭

He's lowkey traumatized af and I have a lot of lore with him regarding evalas and whatnot, probably the yv listener that goes the most off script :P

But bc of that I figured this drawing ref was a pretty good one to use for them lolz

Wanted to draw them dancing so bad bc Cyrus (boo) loves to dance bc of how they were raised and the music they listened to, and you know damn well Alphonse would love watching some of those partner dance competitions.

Cyrus had a very bumpy ride teaching Al to dance and keep up with him, but they have now mastered the dancefloor together 🫶

my casper's reference sheet!!! (guhh)

oh my god dude ive been so busy i genuinely crammed the touch ups in one day im crying lmfaoo , i did this cuz someone asked for a ref sheet and i was like "yeah he needs one,. desperately" so this ones for @teddy468 my pain is your pleasure (seriously, drawing is such a pain sometimes)

is ur gonna ask "why are different parts of casper painted differently" thats bc papa experimented with painting . and hes overworked with no pay thats why he didnt render it properly mb mb

uh confession time i kinda based casper off of me. at first. hes me if i was constantly sugar-high and didnt gaf about what other people thought of me. thats why his build is kind of??? inspired off of me amongst others i know.

i have a big fat crush on my casper.thats al gbye

(also if ur asking why casper got darker i channeled my inner anti colorism self and gave him more melanin than my previous drawings . this is me getting back at the american colonization of my people death to white-centrism grrr)

I've never been one for Fandom spaces sinse I've always been intimidated by them, but being a part of the yuurivoice Fandom has genuinely been one of the funnest things for me. It's always so fun being able to see fellow fans get so creative with their art and listener oc's and being able to see everyone share their creativity in such unique ways. Being able to have people not only enjoy my art but actively indulge in the same interests as me is so special, and I have to thank yuurivoice for creating such a welcoming space for people like me to be indulgent in this kind of way.

So thank you Mr. Yuuri for making such a safe space for people to come together, you've helped so many people and created a space of comfort and stability for some people.

You are so important to the people in this Fandom space and I truly hope nothing but the best for you in things to come and hope you can enjoy the full fruits of your labour again soon 🙏

Don't think about how often he's corrected people with "No, that was my father's name," keenly aware of how he sounds like a used care salesman. Don't think about events he goes to where his place is marked with "Mr..." his stepfather's name. It reminds him that everything he has was something he ripped from the hands of a man he killed in cold blood. Everything except Rook, whose last name he takes when they make their vows of Forever.
