idk maybe I’m a fucking prude or something but I really don’t wanna see anymore violence against women on my screen when I live in a world where violence against women happens in our fucking faces every five seconds. like maybe I’m just a big loser because I’m so fucking tired of seeing vile rape scenes where women get victimized and put in situations that are unnecessary to the plot and serve as deft reminders that even in creative spaces women’s bodies are being used for a perverts (derogatory) plot device. maybe that’s on me. maybe I’m the fucking crazy one. maybe I’m insane for thinking people in creative spaces should have the skill to write a story that doesn’t include a woman getting fucking raped and maybe I’m fucking wrong for thinking people who use explicit and violent rape scenes for a plot are uncreative freaks who just want shock value so someone (anyone!) will watch their shit from a butt writing. my bad.
