Well... It really took a long time, with a lot of work. I had to bring a lot of kids to the song. I finally have it, CHORUS has awarded me with the top stalker jacket!
Nox opens her eyes to bright lights. Then she remembers. That night, the well, falling. She tries to sit up but everything, everything hurts. Especially her head. The pain is nearly blinding as she tried sitting up too fast.
Putting a hand to her head she manages to look up and around. Hospital room........hospital!? Panic swells in Noxâs chest. She shouldnât be here. This is most likely owned by Chorus. She tries to move but everything hurts and she has to stop to breathe and focus the dizzying room.
âNox! Nox hold up calm down. Everything is alrightâ Rev tries to reassure her. She doesn't really know what to do here, sheâs never been the best at calming someone panicked. âMe and Lavey brought you here, nobodyâs gonna hurt you. We only want to helpâÂ
Rev was here? Why? And sheâs.....the realization hit Nox as hard as she hit the ground last night.
âI....canât...hear you...â She struggles to speak and her breath becomes shallow. She canât even hear herself. Nox clutches at the bed sheets and stares down. She can imagine the sound but thereâs nothing.
Revs eyes widen a bit in realization, how Nox fell, the fracture. She nods a bit and fishes out a small notepad, starting to write in it. âYou suffered a pretty bad head injury after falling down the well, weâre all here to help you. Don't worry.âÂ
Nox snapped back into focus when the notepad was offered to her to read. She released her grip on the bedsheets and rested back onto the bed.
Everything hurt. It felt like there was a needle going through the side of her head. The body needed rest. But the instinct said not to. Not yet.
Rev takes the notepad back, starting to write on the next page. âYou need to rest, youâll be fine here. You have to recover from your injuryâ She hands the notepad back to Nox. Revâs aware Nox probably won't trust this place, being Chorus owned.
Lavey walks into the room, handing Rev a soda. he looks at Nox, realising shes awake and looking distraught.
"Hey Nox, how are you feeling? what's up with the notepad?"
Nox tenses from seeing movement out of the corner of her eye, but lets out a deep breath when she sees itâs a familiar face. The pain slowly eased but only slightly when she stopped trying to move. The imaginary needle in the head was still there but consistent.
@revtbc
Rev looks over at Lavey and nods a bit, holding out her notepad to him. âThey say that they canât hear us, must be from the injuryâ The notepad is flipped to a new page. âYou can talk to them with this.â
Lavey frowns and takes the notepad, he writes down: "You're in good hands here, don't worry." handing the notepad to Nox, he turns to Rev. "Will she be able to hear again?"
âI havnt heard anything about that.â Rev shakes her head no. She really hasn't heard any doctors making positive comments, the doctors just seemed focused on making sure she stayed stable.

Well... I almost had it, I almost got that jacket. However, right before the time came someone... Someone did better. Iâm not... Iâm not angry... I don't need revenge. I am.. Iâm happy, we all did our part for Speak As One. All Is Well
Boom! Colored version!
A First Stalk...
Rev paces slightly in the strange van she was told to go to. Everything feels wrong, she doesnât know what to do... They... Speak-As-One... Told her what she has to do to help keep her family safe, her friends safe. Rev herself has seen the way the other club members can treat those sleepers and lucids, itâs like they forget that they could be family, and ARE family. This violence... Itâs so unnecessary, the voice is right, she has to help stop them. They...The club... don't REALLY care about her family, just their own goals... Soon she was briefed on what she had to do. Rev had to record the members of the club, and report their crimes. That didn't sound too bad, but the oddest thing would be... The lucids and Sleepers don't care that sheâs there anymore as she steps out of hiding. Itâs not that they don't see her, they just don't mind her presence. Itâd take a bit of getting used to. Rev is a bit startled by a sleeper walking out of a room right in front of her, her instincts telling her to run at first but... Then she remembers itâs not going to do anything to her. They are on the same side at the moment after all. She takes out her phone, turning on the camera and walking off to where the club members should be starting their mission, hereâs where the real challenge would be. Not getting caught. She starts out following the kids along a rooftop, occasionally snapping pictures of them and where theyâre going. She sighs a bit. Adjusting her bandana... Hopefully, they wouldn't see her, she seems to be always just out of sight and itâs started making her a bit paranoid. Eventually, she starts to lean over a roof, watching them finish up and start to leave... And thatâs when she starts to feel herself lose footing and fall forward. Rev slowly opens her eyes as she doesn't feel the pain of hitting the ground, something has grabbed the back of her shirt and pulled her back to safety. She turns and looks back to see what it is, just to see a lucid standing in front of her. âYou need to be more careful.â Rev slowly just nods, she doesn't know what to say... Maybe the voice was right... They do just want to help us.Â
So a friend of mine is getting me into The Blackout Club, so I made a little 4am sketch of her SAO Stalker kid - Rev - and my soon-to-be-SAO kid, Rain⊠Need I say more? @revtherevenant has told me of the Song⊠and I have accepted it. All is well. We speak as one. <3
Turns out I never turned on the ask box... Oops! Open now!
No sleep. Not today. Nox missed the sirens of the late nights in the city. The screeching of tires or shouts. Thatâs what made the song so tempting when she moved in with her adopted parents. The silent nights drove her to sleepless nights. The hum of strings provided the white noise she desperately wanted to hear.
It was easy to give in.
And incredibly distressing to be pulled out. But it was much needed, and Nox is grateful for whoever did that.
The song now itches. There at the back of the mind. Familiar yet so far away and indescribable that it cannot be replicated in anyway when awake. So no sleep for today. Hopefully other songs can dull the prickling.
Going out and listening. The nerves were calmed and the blood rushing lessened when Nox came back to the train cars. What Rev had said though was bothering. It felt wrong even thinking about asking the enemy of the club anything that wasnât related to a joke.
Rev steps into the train car, adjusting her bandanna slightly and pulling it down to allow for easier speech. âI hope you keep what I said in mind, the voice will answer if you ask.â She looks over towards her friend.
Looking down the train car and around, Nox gave a sigh glad that no one else was around.
âLook, Iâm not expecting any answers to my questions. Maybe Iâm being stupid and looking too far into it.â She hefted her bag up onto the car first before stepping on.
âIâll consider, and maybe think about being nice about asking.â
âSee! Thatâs how you gotta do itâ She laughs, setting her bag down on a nearby table in the train car. âWhen youâre nice to the voices they generally respond betterâ she adds, speaking from personal experience. âAnyways, Iâve asked them questions before myself, and it wasnât that bad.â She doesnât seem to go into much detail on the whats and whens, but she doesnât seem to be lying.âAnyways, you know you can trust me, right? Weâre friends.â
Nox couldnât help but give a small grin.
âI dunno, sometimes you can make questionable decisions on missions.â Unable to keep a straight face, she unpacks her accordion out of its bag and puts her arms through the straps.
âQuestionable decisions? Like what, my decisions are generally pretty goodâ She grins, fishing through her bag before taking out a small ocarina, it has a cord attached to it which she slings over her neck.
âMmmmâŠ.a few choice flashbangs couldâve been better.â She spoke as she unclasped the strap keeping the bellow of the accordion together. Nox began to play some cords to warm up.
âAny suggestions?â
âHmmâŠI dont know.â Rev raises her ocarina starting to play the start of some sea shanty she heard some kid not from Redacre singing in the train car a while ago.
âYou know youâre suppose to sing those right?â Nox raises an eyebrow upon hearing the start and clasps the strap over the bellows again.
âI am awareâ Rev nods as she sets the ocarina back down, done with playing it for now. âJust didnât feel like it.â
âThink weâre ever going to manage to get out of Redacre?â Nox sat down with her legs hanging out of the traincar and rested the accordion on her lap.
âThatâs a bit of a sudden question but, I donât think I want to,â Rev admits. She stretches a bit, sitting down on a nearby chair as she looks back over at Nox. âI grew up here, even if it has problems I donât really wanna leave. This is all I knowâ She gestures around her.
Looking out into the treetops and sky and vaguely motioning with one hand.
âWell, thereâs more. We canât stay here forever. Even if said problems werenât here.â
âI donât see why notâ She shrugs. Getting up and hopping out of the train car, grabbing her bag and putting her stuff back in. âIâve got stuff I need to do. Non-club businessâÂ
âAlright, have fun. Come back safe. We canât afford to lose any more kidsâŠâ Nox repeated what she nearly always repeated to everyone that left the traincar to do whatever. It was the best she could do.
"I always do." Rev responds, adjusting the bandana back over her face and walking out into the woods.

Oh, thank you Muse! It took a lot of work but I'm happy to have done it!
