Rex super mayro

Rex by CSolarstorm.  This goofy little dinosaur from Yoshi's Island almost looks like Yoshi! Rex takes two hits to beat, because he's super squishy. He can be squished to just half of his size!

Even though Rex shows up in the very first level of his game, the franchise has moved on without him. Even the footballer came back, and he gets to be a racer in Mario Kart World! It's time to bring back Rex, Nintendo. He deserves to spend time with his buddy Yoshi again!

I feel like nobody's going to know who this is supposed to be, so here's the sprite from Super Mario World. (Sometimes it felt like I was making Spyro.) I based his appearance on various versions though. Either way, I couldn't make him...goofy, enough.

I might go back and redo this one at some point, see if I can make a more accurate version look good. Though I do like that trying to make a Rex from a Yoshi reskin made me realize that Rex is the closest relative to Yoshi in his game. Now I kind of want a Rex plushy.
