Introduction to...me I guess

I've realized I didn't really do an introduction, so I decided to do one now.

Hi, I'm Reyn or Jasmine, whatever you like.

I discovered shifting in 2021 and I shift to a lot of places. I recently made a shiftok account to try and connect with other shifters or people in general, though I seem to not know how to start a proper conversation past "how are you?"

Moving on, I'd just like to say that I am not judgmental and I try to keep myself and accounts a safe place.

A little about me here:

I'm homeschooled and just finished the 10th grade

I plan on working at the aquarium with animals when I'm older

I actually don't know how to message people but I can talk to people if there is a topic

I have 2 younger siblings and I'm the oldest

I try not to judge people because I have no right to do so

I'm a girl (lol), I'm bisexual, I am trying to get into witchcraft

I have strict parents

In general I can be pretty weird, but I am a nice person

I've recently started volunteering at the aquarium so yeah :)

sometimes you have to allow the dr to get a little boring so that it naturally gets taken off the pedestal you initially had it on. i learned this the hard way. i used to switch drs if a breeze blew by too quickly and it did nothing to help my intention or keep me clear headed on where i actually wanted to go. if you’re like me and you have a bunch of drs, just try to stick to one for 2 weeks at least and during that time, actually set intention to shift.

it’s not always genuine boredom that you’re feeling but familiarity and being familiar with your dr can help your nervous system in allowing you to actually shift there. remember that when you’re making a new habit or practice, your mind can sometimes reject it because it wants things to stay the same. when new habits replace old ones, you’ll be thrown curveballs in an attempt to keep you in the same place. even if it’s illogical! even if shifting is something you really want! so try to work with your comfort level instead of against it. <3

FRIENDSHIP SCENARIOS

♯ going to an escape room and getting absolutely nothing right so the workers have to continuously help you guys out, but that just scares you guys so literally nothing gets done

♯ sneaking into abandoned places (and getting caught for bonus points)

♯ skipping school/work together to go to an amusement park

♯ playing hide and seek in an airport

♯ having a wig snatching competition (look them up on tiktok, they’re hilarious)

♯ everyone dying their hair a colour of the rainbow

♯ getting out of context clips and editing them like a reality show, then having the whole friend group react to it

♯ getting on a bus/train none of you have ever been on and staying on it till the very last stop

♯ going to a restaurant/literally anywhere that serves food and ordering for each other

♯ going to an adult soft play or a soft play meant for your age

♯ rating each other’s baby photos

♯ draw each other as animals

♯ having a glow stick party

♯ moving in with your best friend

♯ doing each other’s make up but only one of you is a professional

i think that my most 'unrealistic' dr is my vampire diaries universe one because the vampires can procreate in that reality. they can have children with other vampires or wolves or witches or humans, it doesn't matter. rebekah mikaelson motivated me to script this 💗

my most unrealistic DR is probably my waiting room. It’s a plane that stays suspended in air forever, and if I wanna shift to my dr through that, this plane will fly to the place and I’ll be jumping out of it, which will make me conscious in my drself’s mind-

i don't know what i would define as "unrealistic dr' because in all of my drs, i have some kind of magic/powers. or the setting itself is "unrealistic". and all backstories are me cheesing it. i guess a dr, where i am a dragon (who can freely shapeshift between my dragon and human form) and i become a princess consort to a kingdom's crown princess. and a waiting room that changes it's form depending on what i desire.

my most unrealistic dr is my only dr lol, I live in a utopian world where I (and others that live on the continent) have superpowers because I have no interest in carrying over bodily functions, illness, or the ability to be injured tbh, it feels normal in dreams to be without it.

we spend our time on whatever our interests are, mainly split into two categories: creating + researching; things that make everyone's lives better, not just for humans but for animals, plants, and the planet ♡

TYYYY. okay tbh most of my drs are quite unrealistic at times, and then of course there are the drs i have ideas for and didn't even script.

i'd say the most unrealistic thing is the fact that in every single dr, i've studied marine biology or been a marine biologist, because in my criminal minds dr i studied marine biology and in my supernatural dr i was literally a marine biologist for a short period of time, it's just always there somehow
