i am currently 21 years old. i discovered reality shifting in around 2021/22, though i wasn't fully actively shifting throughout that time. i took a lot of long breaks in between.

୭ i am a christian...i guess? not particularly religious but catholic-raised and i believe in God.

୭ my social battery is often low, so sorry if i try to befriend then kinda phase off one day. it's nothing against you, i just don't have energy to deal with more than one person at a time. sometimes, i don't even have energy for that. my life is pretty boring, so me "ghosting" you will 80% of the time mean that i wanna talk but have nothing to talk about.

୭ (i think) my first dr was a hogwarts dr, in which i was draco's twin. quite basic, i know.

୭ i won't lie, i am quite inconsistent with my shifting journey. my attention span makes me abandon or forget about my drs often. or makes me lose motivation.

୭ i don't hate on shifting using loa or loa itself, it's just not my cup of tea. (sidenote: if you think, that loa is the ONLY way to shift...get away from me. i automatically dislike you.). some loa shifters? now, that's another story.

୭ regarding the whole "race-changing" discourse on shiftblr/in the shifting community, I would not describe myself as an anti but sceptical. while I cannot fully consider myself as completely against it, i think many white/non poc shifters might have an unworked racial biases/assumptions rooted in racism without realizing. i am also concerned at the tendency of shifting community to brush off the voices of poc expressing their discomfort.

୭ despite knowing that dni lists are inneffective, i still consider them useful as a tool to set boundaries. as well as signalling lack of acceptance for harmful beliefs. although for anyone reading this, i would like to remind you...dni lists can be used against you. if you put down your triggers in your dni, a person with bad intentions might use that knowledge against you. keep that in mind.

Seeing people I know and like using AI is making me understand the protagonists of those old time sci fi dystopia's.

You lived on this planet for decades, you know what you like, there are hundreds of websites where you can type into any search engine " things to do in [area]" and have at least a hundred different options.

"Oh I only use it so I can figure out what to make during the week with what I have"

The most popular website as you type in "recipes" into google have sections where you click dinner- quick and easy and those usually rely on staples + 1 or 2 items. I found 30 recipes on chicken alone.

"I had a writing idea, so I typed a few sentences into Chat GPT and I was able to write 20 pages with it."

This June, I need Gen Z queers to understand that some people are closeted.

I am saying this as a Gen Z queer, before y’all get your guns out to fucking shoot me.

But I need y’all to understand that if someone doesn’t give you their government name in a queer space, it’s not because they’re “mysterious,” and you do not have permission to take it upon yourself to figure out their “real identity” and go digging for them online like a private investigator. First, that’s creepy and a violation of privacy and reasonable boundaries. Second, some of us keep our private and professional lives very separate because we need to keep food on the fucking table and a roof over our heads, and our private life could jeopardize that.

1.) Not all our parents would bake us a fucking cake when we come out. Some of us are closeted. Surely you understand this? You also do not need to know my parent’s names or occupations; we are both adults. I do not need nor want to mix you and my private life with my parents and my public life.

2.) Trans people do not owe you their dead name or government name

3.) I’m not telling you for the sake of job security. I am a government fucking caseworker working amidst a fucking lavender panic!

See— that’s part of the issue. Y’all assume someone is in the closet because they hate themselves or lack self-identity. Some of us know exactly who we are, but need to prioritize financial stability or else our entire life gets exponentially harder immediately.

I need y’all to start bringing that energy. Because it’s not always safe for someone to be out and not everyone is safe to be out around.

There is a misnomer that “the closet” inherently means “doesn’t know they’re queer” and not “isn’t out widely and publicly.” “Outness” is often a patchwork.

Even if someone who isnt out does share any life details with you, you keep those to yourself. You tread carefully and assume others dont know until told otherwise. And sometimes you lie and help keep that closet door shut. It is ok to feel super weird about it if someone comes out to you as trans but tells you to only use their preferred name and pronouns privately just the two of you. It's fine to feel uncomfortable when people ask you if a gay person has an opposite gendered partner. It is so valid to feel weird and bad deadnaming someone even though they requested it. It stops being valid if you do anything other than they asked. Feel your feelings, and keep them to yourself - someone else's identity isn't about you.

No, being a TERF is not "having a different opinion". It is an ideology that consists of wanting to exterminate/eradicate an entire demographic (trans people in this example). That sort of ideology regarding any group based on their race, nationality, ethnicity, sexuality, sex or gender identity should not be welcome, tolerated or encouraged in any way, in any sort of community.

...Are you alright with entire demographics being eradicated?

(My personal opinion: If you are, people are allowed to open hunting season on you. Only fair you get treated like you treat people.)

What "good points"? Do you mean the "what if the world was made of pudding" type fantasy regarding the whole "men are transitioning to rape in their bathrooms" thing? Transitioning is a years-long, complicated process that requires exhaustive amounts of time & (sometimes) money. No man who's purpose/goal is sexually assaulting women would bother going through all of that, instead of just ignoring the goddamn bathroom sign & going in to rape a woman anyways. Same logic for women's prison "argument".

Regarding all that "brainwashing of impressionable youth into mutilating their bodies" spiel...Did you all forgot, that one must go through psychological evaluations before being allowed to go through with gender-corrective surgery?

If i am correct, then I'll give you a small heads up. As you're one of the types that seem to have the concept of freedom twisted. Freedom of expression is not being able to say anything with no consequences. Being told off for being bigoted is not "removing your freedom of speech", it's the previously mentioned consequence of saying something bigoted. Also, your personal freedom of expression ends when another person's freedom of expression & wellbeing/safety begins.
