FAQ
"Schedule?"
Whenever the artists are free! They will respond to whatever they like.
"Is shipping allowed?"
Yes, but keep it SFW, between adults, and do not expect things to become canon
"Are Magic anons allowed?"
Yes! We encourage it
"Will every ask be answered?"
Most likely not, however the rate of answers will increase and decrease
"What happens when an artist gets busy?"
Most things will be communicated about via Discord within our team. 90% of the time, the artist will be excused and someone else will take over for the time being. If an artist goes on an indefinite hiatus, their role will most likely be put back up for adoption and they will be considered a "veteran artist" for the blog. They are able to rejoin if they find themselves in a better spot in the future.
"Sending in OCs?"
We discourage this simply because some artists are not comfortable with spending time drawing OCs while they could draw their characters instead.
"Can people join?"
Absolutely! We have several open spots open still, as you can see, so we are actively searching for people who wish to join. If you're curious, shoot us a message!

A project where I write about Kirby bosses and make them look like screenshots.
Kirby Super Star Ultra and Kirby's Return to Dream Land began giving boss battles special text screens with backstory and lore on the pause menu. But what if all the older games had those too?
This project is exactly that - boss battle Special Page mockups for all of the pre-RTDL mainline Kirby games and their bosses. 106 images in total.
Kirby's Dream Land - (10 images) - "He wants to make an example out of Kirby, then eat a meal fit for a king! Stop him!"
Kirby's Adventure - (9 images) - "Many worlds have ancient texts warning about terrible monsters - parasitic nightmares who roam the cosmos in search of dreams to feed on."

The goals of this project:
Write text descriptions that feel accurate to Kirby's tone - with levity, humor, and a sharp left turn into more serious tone in the final act. Screens are written with the idea that maybe the games were remastered, and text screens were added - so sometimes references to later games may show up.
Make image mockups that feel authentic to the games themselves. To this effect, I made all these mockups in the resolutions of the games themselves, and tried to use appropriate fonts (some of which work better than others).
Include a healthy amount of worldbuilding and connections to other titles, with an increased emphasis on info lost in translation from the original JP scripts, and sometimes foreshadowing later entries. Some of this is headcanon stuff, but I tried to make it feel like it could come from the games themselves.
Use the average length of a text screen from Kirby: Triple Deluxe and onward as a baseline for how much text is acceptable in each mockup.
I'm pretty proud of this project. It has some rough edges but generally I'm happy with the descriptions themselves (though the designs could've been better). Regardless I really enjoyed making these, and they spiced up my first series playthrough of the Kirby series since I was a kid.
