Some tour impressions. Photos by Micha
Regensburg, Hannover, home As we arrived in Regensburg we where surprised how many people came to this tiny venue. The bar was quickly filled and heated. Kyrest played a heavy set and our own was super fun to play. Nice town with old buildings and later a lot of fog. Hanging out with the Kyrest guys was awesome. Short night yesterday. Getting up after 4h of sleep and already on the way to Hannover. We played with Kratzer again (and a lot of metalcore bands we where not able to see because we had to bring back the trailer in time) Playing with Kratzer was a nice tour closer. Really good people. Then heading home. The last 10 days where really amazing. We met a lot of friends and made new ones. We are really thankful for everyone who spent some time listening to us, talking to us or supporting us. Thanks to all the people who came by, all the people involved in setting up a show, cooking, helping, caring, laughing about our jokes, making us feel grateful and giving us a place to sleep and all other bands who played with us. Thanks Kratzer and Kyrest for spending an amazing time with us and special thanks to Leenke and Micha for helping out. L.
Baracke Münster, KTS Freiburg & Kommune 2010 Offenbach. In Münster we played together with Kokomo from Duisburg (check them out if you haven't already). They played an amazing set and the sound was awesome. It was the last day of their tour. The Barakke is a small place on the campus. Everyone was super friendly and we had the best food and good sleeping places. In Freiburg we met Kyrest. They are super nice and funny people. Their set was intense and fun to watch. We had some time to visit the city or to take a nap in the van. Yesterday we arrived at Kommune 2010 in Offenbach. This place is really stunning. It was bought (privately) and is now kept in condition. The terrain is huge with some green space, sand pit, huge parking space and tons of rooms in the main building. It was some kind of metal factory in the past. There are many rehearsal rooms for making music and you can practice all night long as we learned that the hard way. The concert group is pretty fresh (yesterday was the 3rd show for them). Super great people. We played with Kyrest – again an intense show – and had an awesome party afterwards. The night was short and cold but we had an good breakfast, coffee and a shower on the highway. Now we are on the way to Regensburg.
AZ Aachen yesterday together with Kratzer (I played bass for Kratzer again. I will also do on Sunday). Playing was super fun but exhausting. Food and sleeping-situation was very good as well. The last 5 days with Kratzer where amazing and we are already missing these guys. Can't wait for Sunday. Today we arrived at Baracke in Münster: cool place with a very nice view.
Yesterday we played in AZ Köln together with Kratzer and Lhotse. I joined Kratzer at bass because Johannes had to work – that was fun. Thx to Lhotse for helping us out with bass equipment. Afterwords we finally drank guwo and some people got really drunk. The sleeping place was amazing. The AZ is an old office building and the concert room is a small place in the basement. We had the chance to get to rooftop of the AZ, some of us went to see the Kölner Dom and today we went to the big music-store to buy some stuff. Now lunch-break at the highway.

Mannheim with Kratzer, Loose Suspense, Kmpf Sprt & Matula yesterday. The show started at 5pm, so we had super much time afterward. Micha aka boy-wonder did the sound the whole evening. The food was amazing as well as the breakfast: plenty of self-made spreads and good coffee. In Mannheim you can't get alcohol (except beer) after 10pm. That took us a while to figure out. Next to the venue was a fun-fair with everything. We went to some roller coasters with the guys from Kratzer and had a good time.
Halle, Reil78 yesterday. Good people came by but we had much too less time with them. We played together with Akela, Hector Savage and Kratzer. All bands where awesome and the sound was great. The concert group did some really good noodle-salat and goulash. We slept for just 3h because we had to be early in Manheim today.
Yesterday we played in XB-Liebig (Berlin) together with Blades, Rebarker and Kratzer. First day of tour. Some good friends came by and the venue was crowded. Playing was fun, the venue was very nice and we had soup. We hit the bed early and slept in the concert room. Today we had veggie burgers and fries for breakfast – that was great. As we are super in time we take the chance to get some coffee and a shower on the highway.
From friday on we will be on tour for 10 days – make sure you check out kratzer and kyrest if you haven't already. 10.10. Berlin (w/ Kratzer) 11.10. Halle (w/ Akela & Kratzer) 12.10. Mannheim (w/ Kratzer) 13.10. Köln (w/ Kratzer) 14.10. AZ Aachen (w/ Kratzer) 15.10. Münster 16.10. Freiburg (w/ Kyrest) 17.10. Offenbach (w/ Kyrest) 18.10. Regensburg (w/ Kyrest) 19.10. Hannover (w/ Kratzer)
Can't wait! L.
Today was our last day at Tonmeisterei. We woke up early and started with bass. Sound check and miking was already done yesterday so it didn't took too much time and with that, all instruments are done. Oli arrived perfectly timed and we could start with vocals and even had time for some additional stuff like soundscapes and kettle drums. Résumé: this was a mind blowing, exhausting and fun weekend. We learned allot and are really satisfied with the result. Big thanks to Role L.
Today was a long and good day. Good breakfast, nice coffee and then sound check for Pekka's guitars. The combination from his Ampeg V4-B with a self made Rat and the sunn Model T with the DIY Tube screamer worked perfect. For the calmer parts he used a Laney VH 100R with a shabby pedal. Everything went super good and we are really satisfied with the outcome so far. For lunch we ordered veggie gyros, fries and fried onions – very good and huge portions. Bass sound check was a blast. We put the Peavey Mark III with a Bass Overdrive and a Compressor into a Ampeg 8x10, a sunn Beta Lead into a Ampeg 9x10 and a Fender 140 with a pedal called 'Apocalypse' into a fender 2x15 cabinet. This is really heavy stuff. Had some nice talk and listened to some Domian episodes later. L.
Yesterday in the evening we ordered some very good pizza and hit the bed early.
Today: guitars. Ben tried about 10 amps and the best thing was a combination from the sunn Model T with a self made Tube Screamer and the Hovercraft Falcon KT88 for the main parts. For the parts that are not so heavy distorted Ben used Pekkas Ampeg V4B with a very nice reverb.
Marvin and me went out to get some fresh air and explore the city. We found our selves in a funfair – the ghost train was pretty spooky. We had some raviolis after that and later we will see jungbluth and November 13th

Entered Tonmeisterei (Studio) today. Third time for rha – first time for me. Totally stoked about this place. Role is a super nice and calm person. We are recording "Lichtbruch" for our split with paanblog and Leviathan and a very short song for the split with Always Wanted War. Drum miking is done and Marvin is recording right now. L.
