I had a lot of fun with this. It kinda makes me wanna design my own D&D self insert character (lawful good human cleric, according to the quiz, which is a surprise to approximately No One). idk maybe I’ll get around to that eventually. or maybe ill draw half a dozen more Homestucks instead.

i finished this three weeks ago and then just didnt do anything with it until now

no one can tell me that this is not davepeta’s exact fashion sense. they would totally wear this outfit. the day after they would wear a trench coat, a hello kitty t-shirt, pleated skirt, fishnets, and heelies. and if you think they would not rock a jean jacket over a cat-pattern dress and wellington boots then you have another thing coming, buddy.

ive been sitting on this for a while

idk its some kinda fancy crow mask dave that looked way cooler in my head. im not super pumped about the way this turned out but yknow what, whatever. at least i finished it finally. i was initially planning on putting way more effort into this but i just kinda lost inspiration halfway through, so im just gonna leave it like this.

im pretty happy with the head actually. and the cape. the cape turned out p kickass. honestly i think i just need to draw more often.

i have some ideas for traditional art that i wanna do this summer but im not really sure what to do next as far as digital art is concerned. maybe ill do another davepetasprite. i think i only drew them like once which is a CRIME.

anyway in between now and then i actually finished season three and im too mad to go back i still can’t believe they killed off *REDACTED* and *REDACTED* i was legit upset about that for like way too long. ill probably go back eventually but like...ugh

So I haven’t posted anything in a very long time. Mostly because I have been Extremely Busy™, but also because I have been suffering from a severe case of art block. Thus in an attempt to claw my way back out of the pit, I did some random color pallet (pallete? palette? palet? i could look it up but that would ruin the fun) challenges. 

Each of the colors were individually generated, so there was no guarantee they’d work nicely together. I think I got pretty luck on the last one, though. The tyrian pink and the salmon let me get some sweet shading done on seagirl’s skin. As you can probably tell, I bent the rules a little by taking tints of the colors. However, I have searched carefully through my belongings and have discovered that I possess not one single frick to give. The frick charity collection guy turns away, empty handed. I shall be receiving no tax returns for charitable frick giving this spring. Very sad, very sad indeed.

Probably no one read that. That’s okay. I am at peace with this. What is this website for if not throwing nonsensical strings of words into the darkness? Anyway, if for whatever bizarre reason you read all that and you’re still with me, kudos. You’ve broken through the barrier of semi-self-imposed isolation. Hit me up and maybe we can scream into the void together.

And that about fills my surrealism/meaningles bullshiz quota for the day. Peace out, have a nice day free of misfortune and news articles about the Trump administration’s latest screeching horror. Lemme know if I should do more color pal(l)et(t)(e) things, or if you have like a request or something, idk. Anything at all. Please help me, I am so art blocked.
