Jeff Buckley: I mean there's no separation. Maybe it's beacuse I just have a different experience of life than most people. I don't see people, I don't see men and women at all. When I see them I see... Their mothers and fathers. I see how old they are inside. Like when I look at the President, or anybody in record company, or a store owner, I may see a little boy behind the counter with the face of an old man. And that's who I talk to. And it's strange: it's like seeing ghosts everywhere. I don't really go on what people say so much, I go on their voices. I go on their energy at the time. I go on how close their arms are folded into their chest. And sometimes when I talk, I just don't make sense. Sometimes it gets me into trouble.
Interviewer: Why?
Jeff Buckley: Sometimes I don't make myself understood all that well. I don't do well when I communicate sometimes, but I'm trying to communicate directly.

âIf you see my reflection in the snow covered hills Well, the landslide will bring it downâŠ"
Watch: In a powerful Congresional speech, Sandra Blandâs mother called people who think theyâre woke âthe walking deadâ because of how little we still know
The speech included a rousing call to action before the newly formed Congressional Caucus On Black Women & Girls. And her words were incredibly resonant, even if you think you know the whole story.

And so I ask myself: âWhere are your dreams?â And I shake my head and mutter: âHow the years go by!â And I ask myself again: âWhat have you done with those years? Where have you buried your best moments? Have you really lived? Look,â I say to myself, âhow cold it is becoming all over the world!â And more years will pass and behind them will creep grim isolation. Tottering senility will come hobbling, leaning on a crutch, and behind these will come unrelieved boredom and despair. The world of fancies will fade, dreams will wilt and die and fall like autumn leaves from the trees⊠.
