Butterflies and Flowers (Part 1?)
Summary: Y/N is a newborn vampire in the Olympic coven and the Cullen's help them with their gift
Y/N had developed a gift. The gift to deceive those around them. What that meant was that Y/N was able to make those around them see and hear things that weren't there. Edward, Alice and Jasper were helping Y/N learn how to use their gift. Granted, the older vampires didn't know anything about this gift, they were willing to help their sibling get used to everything.
"Just think about what you want us to see..." Alice said, looking at her new sibling. "I know you can do it. I saw you outsmarting the Volturi with it" Alice smiled. Alice took a few steps closer to the newborn, gently placing her hand in theirs.
Y/N closed their eyes and listened to the words Alice spoke. They cleared their mind and began to think of Butterflies. As they continued to focus their mind on the butterflies, a few flew around the four siblings. Y/N opened their eyes and smiled as they saw the butterflies. "Did I do that?" They asked.
"You sure did," Jasper smiled. "Try again. This time, think of something else. something bigger. It doesn't have to move.. it can be as still as a tree.." Jasper said, watching the newborn. "Just clear your head and think about it"
Y/N nodded and closed their eyes once more, thinking of something bigger than a butterfly, but smaller than a normal human. Flowers then began to appear beside the siblings. However, it was only the four who could see the flowers. This was soon recognized when the other Cullens walked outside.
"What're you looking at? All there is around you guys is dirt.." Rosalie said, walking over to the others with Emmett following her, also confused.
"Y/Ns gift. They can make anyone see anything!" Alice smiled, looking over at Rosalie. "It doesn't make sense, I know, but still. You gotta admit, it's pretty freaking awesome!" Alice laughed.
Y/N opened their eyes, looking at the confused family members as the flowers and butterflies disappeared. "At least I know how to use it.." They mumbled.
"Correct.. And now we have to teach you how to make it stronger and how to use it when absolutely necessary" Carlisle smiled, walking over to his new child. "That's enough training for right now.. how about we go hunt?" He suggested.
All of the Cullens agreed, so they all left and went into the woods to hunt for their dinner.
