Why do gendered single stall restrooms even exist. Why are we doing this. There's a little 🚺 or 🚹 on the door but you open it and find a single toilet next to a single sink. The toilet is not even stalled separate from the sink. The room itself locks. This room does not need to be gendered. Just put a little 🚾 or 🚽 on the door and let anyone use it. It is inherently a single gender restroom because it is single occupancy, you don't have to enforce that. It will always inherently be single gender, specifically the gender of whoever is in it at any given time. There's someone in the 🚺 single occupancy restroom but the 🚹 single occupancy restroom is open and I need to pee. Who came up with this. I don't think regular large public restrooms need to be gendered either but people have good faith arguments for why they should be. I have never heard a good faith argument for gendered single occupancy restrooms. Cooties? Is it cooties you are afraid of? Cooties that persist on surfaces long after the person who deposited them has left? Grow upppp

The number of people in the notes confidently declaring that no one ever pees on the seat or forgets to flush in the women's room is crazy. Of course this happens. I'm perfectly willing to believe it happens more often in men's rooms but sometimes women get pee on the seat and don't wipe it up. Sometimes women don't flush. Sometimes women do that thing where you put toilet paper around the seat so you don't have to touch it but then when they're done they just leave it there, I hate that one so much bc it expresses a concern about hygiene for the self while also making a mess for other people. I have seen plenty of stalls in the women's room completely trashed. What universe are y'all living in where you think this never happens???

One thing drawing Sonic characters taught me is the value of showing expressiveness using just eye shapes without distinct eyebrows vs Distinct Eyebrows On Top Of The Eyes. once you understand this, you also must understand the power of Taking Eyebrows Away From Characters Who Have Them

I feel TADC's art style evolution kinda shows this, with some characters becoming more expressive with distinct eyebrows that appear randomly, but also still having other scenes where they express other particular emotions with no distinct eyebrows. it's basic fundamentals but they go a long way

Eyebrows show a grounded, quantifiable amounts of emotion the more distinct they are, which adds a vulnerability to the character since they're expressing their emotions more visibly. The less you can measure the exact amount of emotion someone is feeling, the less vulnerable they seem. or smth idk
