Practice Piece

Tormund Giantsbane | Game Of Thrones

This was a practice piece on how to draw cities and create depth with colors. I think it turned out O.K. If anyone is interested here is the tutorial that I was using : http://8pxl.tumblr.com/tutorial2. Definitely going to apply these techniques for further art pieces.

I’ll probably use this style of buildings for a game project that I am currently working on. More details to come on that in the future.

Boathouse

Tried to do something different and practice some dithering with the sky and creating some depth. As well as creating a decent colour palette for the sky and hills. Going to keep making some more sky pieces as well as doing that two sided shaded technique I see other artists use where one side is darker than the other. Basically shadows but only using two shades.

P.S. I have a really bad habit of taking down my art and fixing it because of an off pixel or two. So resolutions or the look of it might change slightly.
