1. decades: deeply unmemorable

2. log in crash out: has decent parts but overall its not good lol code is so much better. i hate the choir singing parts also

3. rip: i hate this song im sorry

4. fight like hell: why is he fred durst

5. playing god: its fine but its just a worse slaughterhouse

6. all that ive ever known: this is fine- sorry nevermind i just got to the dubstep part as i was writing that. ending is also not good lmfao i hate arena music

7. blood rave: im kind of interested in this song from the 4 sec prev so im scared. and after listen so far its my favorite (bar is low) i would listen to it again

8. love at first bite: at this point im being held hostage. ricky singing tho miss u king sorry the album sucks tho. ur just my blood type baby <3

9. count back from zero: man… maybe it could grow on me but im really reaching here

10. blood pact: ok this is literally my last saving grace of this album please be good - corpse husband?!?!?!?! “hello my friends we meet again” when we get past those tragic parts i do like this song but again it couldve been so much better lmfao. however on second listen i couldnt stop laughing. instrumental is great tho lol

11. afraid of the dark: like yeah its ok, reminiscent of typical miw over the last 7 years

12. sunglasses at night: its a great cover actually ??????? really great actually lmfao actual best song on album im kinda floored

overall id give this like a 1.5/10 i will be trying to pretend like this does not exist. also im really offended theyd call this decades as if it encapsulates their entire career lmfao. ts sounds like they plugged their last three albums into chatgpt and asked it to make them a new album. it feels soulless. also where is that chart where someone put every single miw song into a total of 10 topics bc lmfao. yeah thats all im going to listen to their old stuff and mourn bye

general miw rant

i think im spicy about all this bc ive been an active fan since 2011, their creative direction in the last 6 years really hasnt been my thing and honestly the last two times ive seen them live ive been really disappointed. one was literally a headliner too. scoring was a great album especially at the time but i fear it hasnt aged very well (the covid specific lyrics are really cringe) but also the way their lyrics are written now feel so different to how it was during their first four albums? every single song has very on the nose lyrics, as opposed to older songs things were more of a mix of that and metaphorical or flowery and i really miss that. i also miss the melodic metal elements or even the heavy industrialness idk. the constant sequels are also very lazy imo and so is this new album name lol. also the two songs off this album so far give a very over produced metalcore vibe which is another thing i miss that old miw didnt really have. but theyve also had the overproduced thing going on for the last couple years i fear

look at me i sound like a miw anti, i really am not lol ive loved this band for so many years and it sucks to see the stuff ive loved about them fade. also im just older now so that probably has something to do with it. it also seems like a lot of the current fanbase is very young or new, or just doesnt give a shit and will eat anything up. much to consider, i hope theres a song or two i can fw on full release at least
