Life update:

Been in the third trimester 3 weeks now and honestly it's so much better than the second trimester! Idk what people were going off about when they said the second trimester is the best, the "honeymoon" trimester. For me, the second was really hard mentally and emotionally. The third has brought it's challenges (pretty sure Braxton hicks) physically but I'd take that any day over what I went through with the second! Funny how everyone's pregnancy is so different.

Our church family threw us a baby shower the other day and we celebrated our little one. He is so loved already! Hard to believe in 2 months he will be in our arms. We have been actively crossing off things on our to do list to prepare for his arrival. He's also been getting much stronger! He has been a lot more active as he kicks his mama; sometimes I can see my belly move when he does! 💙

Overall, this pregnancy (though challenging in ways) has been going smoothly. No major complications (apart from gestational diabetes) and for that I'm so thankful. The fact God has blessed us with this opportunity is mind boggling. So excited/nervous to be parents! So thankful I get to do it with the love of my life. 💙
